Ma'am I have a question . What the vertical load that I have solved based from the Dead load and live load totals only of 200kN and the Mux is 53.58 kN.m and Muy is 53.43 kN.m, can this still qualify as Biaxial column Ma'am? considering that it has only 200kN vertical load. the unsupported length is 3m

Thankyou Ma'am! very well explained . I have one doubt that in 3rd step we have assumed dia of tie and dia of main bar as 8mm and 25mm but in last we have provided 6mm and 20 mm dia. IS that okay ?

Good evening Muskan. I hope the videos are helpful. Regarding your query, the values in step 3 were taken roughly to get the value of d'. Even if we change it to 20 mm there, the change will be insignificant, and will not affect the design. Also, in the last step, after getting the area of longitudinal reinforcement, you can use 25 mm dia bars instead of 20 mm. It will lead to lesser number of bars. In all, these are broad design procedure and will not get affected by minor fine tuning at the end.
