Much better looking then the current. I actually like the last gen body on frame pathfinder that compete with the 4Runner. Sadly, Nissan pulled the plug on that one. Hopefully, a new exterra will come too.

Yes! Thank you for bringing back a more rugged body. I have a 2001 pathfinder, 168000 miles, and still in excellent condition after 20 yrs. I have wanted another Pathfinder but hate the crossbody look of recent ones. This 2022 one looks fantastic and will be my last car if it lasts me another 20 yrs like the one I have.

You did a good job on the new design. However, you’ve missed it on ground clearance. The original pathfinder looked far more usable with its greater ground clearance.

I have a 2017 Nissan Titan XD PLATINUM RESERVE with the Cummings turbo diesel. I would’ve liked the truck to have had the 8’ foot bed. The size of the truck needs to be widen 12”, length 2’ feet and height 10”. The diesel should be class leading 7.0 twin turbo with a 10 speed automatic.

Nissan nails this design. I will be easily identifiable at the red light and arguably Ford Explorer, and Kia Telluride owner’s will be humbled with envy. Nissan did their homework. Much like the new Defender, The Pathfinder is a well executed evolution of exterior and interior redesign strategy. The C pillar and floating roofline is much better executed in this vehicle than the upcoming New Grand Cherokee, I am looking forward to purchasing the AWD SL Platinum.

I don’t know🤔... to me the Pathfinder belongs on a body on frame platform. Let’s hope if Nissan brings the Xterra back it’ll have a segment much like a Wrangler/4Runner it needs to be off road worthy. The name Pathfinder does not suit a soccer mom crossover. Nissan has such a great heritage of off road vehicles such as the Patrol and your losing touch with that heritage. Give us something that will get us beyond just the trailheads and into the woods PLEASE.

I love the old WD21s, but not a chance I'd buy one of the newer ones. Nissan needs to look very thoroughly at what Ford just did with the new Bronco. Bring back a 3 door version, with a manual transmission, and an offroad package.

Sad to see they lost traditional Nissan quality and reliability like Toyota. They only focus on the look now. Their CVT and timing chain guides are all lousy. They are more like other USA car's company. Only focus on the looks.

Put the spare tire on the rear like the original. Install more aggressive tires. Those low profile tires suck. 2022 needs more ground clearance. Make it look off road worthy.

Great design and I am glad the changed the transmission, only thing I hate is the rear PATHFINDER lettering, looks like you copied it from KIA/Hyundai, a smaller lettering on one side would have made the look cleaner and in my opinion much better, will give it a couple of years before considering a purchase, hopefully they have worked out the kinks by then. That Frontier is also looking real nice, great job Nissan!

its nice to have some "boxyness" in a SUV but not always. vehicles like the Rogue and Qashqai didn't really need to be redesigned to a more boxy frame. I just thought that their form, fuction and proportions were very well balanced.

A massive improvement over the current minivan looking model! As a 90s and older Nissan fan I'm super happy to finally see some feeling and care brought back to the brand. Overall looks great, but imo would be better with the new Frontier aggressive front end instead of the chunky chrome stuff nobody wants anymore. I'm also disappointed it's FWD instead of RWD and proper 4x4, though I get that it's a city truck now unfortunately. :( On the other hand, I'm relieved the CVT is gone!

I bought a 1995 Pathfinder out of college and after 26 years and 230,000 miles, I still have it today. It's still in good shape although the transmission may be dying on me so might be time to let it go since I've been waiting for this type of redesign. Just after writing that, I realized that I just can't let go and will probably keep it and get the transmission replaced....but still get the new Pathfinder. The 1995 body style is an absolute beauty!
