I'm glad I'm not the only one who crowds their models with hardware, like those hangers. They do make the size of the final file much larger, but I like showing 3d screenshots to the contractors when they have questions.

What if I wanted to put a corbel that slopes with the roof on exterior.

If I understand you correctly, you're wanting a corbel that isn't a 90 degree angle, where the top of the corbel follows the slope of the roof. Did I understand that right? You'd have to create a custom object. I've done this with solids and should make a video about that.
