Hey all! Coming out with a Framer course in the next couple months. Super excited!

Can you please make a crash course which teaches only js required to utilize basic GSAP? I don't know if it is possible, haven't found something like this anywhere.

I really like your T-Shirt.

love the new studio. it's different from what I am used to

Haven't used it myself, but GSAP have their own React hook useGSAP now that takes care of the useEffect and cleanup.

When did you hit the CDN for Gsap? I assume you must have installed that in the page settings, but if people are new to code, they wouldn't know that or know how. Framer is definitely my favorite low code tool because I already know React.

What is your thoughts about the future of framer? is it going to take strong marketshare like webflow?
@DesignCourse11 ай бұрын
I love it. I think it will for sure.

Wouldn't it make more sense to do that using Framer Motion, which is what framer uses, is better than GSAP and is already installed?
@DesignCourse11 ай бұрын
Good question, I haven't touched Framer Motion just yet so I'm not sure. If it's just as capable, then it'd be a no-brainer to utilize framer motion and not include something that adds extra weight. I just hit up the founder of Framer to ask him. If that's the case, I'll upload another video utilizing Framer motion instead.

@@DesignCourse ah okay cool, I hadn't realised you weren't aware of Framer Motion. In that case I highly recommend you check it out, as it's an awesome React animation library. Thanks for the great content. It's cool to see you diving into Framer

Framer.

You actually managed to do something that Framer never did. Create a video on building a custom code component. Their documentation sucks.

You are correct for noticing this

For real. Documentation is barely present. This video is gold.

Sadly audio has been strange since moving into the new studio. I'm sure you are aware and are working on it :)
@vm-dev11 ай бұрын
Not only audio - the whole visual concept became too distracting and a bit unfortunate with all the studio-background visual noise around the screen frame .. Why doin' it like that, when it makes the main target of the video - browser/editor screen - almost 1/4 smaller than it could be :( It just doesn't add anything of value to the video IMO.

I used a different mic today (Shure sm7b), but without my cloudlifter. Outside of it being a bit quiet, what is the major issue? Might be some reverb, but can't be that much. Also, I am experimenting with Screencast placement. Comments noted!

@@DesignCourse Maybe my ears are dying from too much metal (Nightwish, Epica, Wintersun, Lorna Shore, Shadow of Intent, etc), but in this video it sounds like your voice is louder in the left earphone and there is some reverb buzzing sound throughout the video. Your previous mic was certainly an issue with the hitting sounds, but haven't noticed that in this one. Hopefully this helps :)

@@oliver1121 Thanks, yeah something strange happened and I thought I converted everything to mono. Oops, ugh.
