I loved Design to Sell! Best show on HGTV. I wish they'd bring it back!

HGTV should go back to this common sense low (realistic) budget kind of show to help people improve their homes - whether trying to sell or not. I am SO sick of the million plus dollar homes that Property Brothers do (like - really, dudes?) and the unrealistic budgets and time frames. A budget of $2,000 CAN go along way, even today. I recently had a partial wall removed and a doorway closed up to the kitchen in my 1950's ranch home and it made a HUGE difference in giving me the open "flow" that is so important, especially in a smaller home. Now the living room goes right into the dinette area, which is separated by a peninsula that can be used as a "breakfast bar" area if I added stools. For just me, I don't need it, but when I get ready to sell I will buy a couple of stools to "set the stage." The home came into the 21st century and it cost $1400 labor and materials. I had to paint the new drywall, that was all.

Lol love what they did to the bath. I used to have two skylights for install, I dropped one on my saw, now my install costs are 1/2 what they were... Loved the bath really did, just one thing, did they cover a hidden junction box, giggle....?

I really can't remember! But thanks for the comment and I hope your second skylight remained intact.
