Hello Dana , regarding the orange mini bag, I think it would be perfect to use as a substitute for gift wrap or a gift bag. I would add a pretty gift tag and ribbon to the handle and put a gift card inside it along with a nice lip balm. A nice compact might fit as well.

Sorry but the micro mini bags are ridiculous and they’re not really trending anymore (thankfully!). It’s definitely more about larger slouchy bags or structured satchel bags. Bags with fringe or what we called a sling bag (crescent shape) sometimes called an oval bag now. For me larger purses will always be my preference, but I do enjoy a beautiful clutch for dressier outfits or going out occasionally.
