I absolutely LOVED this video! I have a vintage Sac Plat that belonged to my aunt from 1991 and I LOVE it. The craftsmanship and the quality back then was (and still is) impeccable!!!

You have a great vintage collection! I've been on the hunt for a Dior bag in the same honeycomb print as that little detachable pouch. I love it so much more than the trotter print. Another one I have been keeping an eye out for is a vintage Celine box bag in the macadam print.

I have a vintage Chanel Diana flap and I absolutely love it! The lambskin is still soft and surprisingly durable and it has that deep yellow gold hardware :)

The Fendi bag is real!!! I have one of the stitch bags. It’s somewhat of a baguette, but apparently the stitching bags were a line from the late 70s-early 80s and they’re very rare. There’s one that is also worn by SJP in SATC since ofc her main bag was always a fendi.

Oh my goodness Mel, that ox blood color fendi bag is tdf! You have stellar taste. You have some amazing treasures in your collection. Love discovering vintage pieces. My first Lv was the pouchette accessoir also. It was my very first high end designer bag/slg. I used it like a handbag lol! That bag is so practical. I will pass it on to my daughter as well. I since had the vachetta replaced. It costs about $130 USD.

I really enjoyed this. My favourites are the Gucci bag that looks like the Ophidia, not surprisingly, I love that one but I didn't realise it was a rework of an older one. That is very good to know. The other is the Celine bag. That was a big surprise as I don't like their current styles at all. But your vintage one is beautiful.

Can’t beat the Dior monogram. In the 70’s in New York, all the shop girls, and girls from Queens carried them. 😀. I had two similar Gucci totes from approximately the same period, but unfortunately the shoulder straps did not hold up. I believe the Celine macadam bags are now becoming desirable. Great collection.

What a great designer vintage collection you have, Mel! My two favorite bags are the Celine and the Gucci Ophidia. Another difference that I could see from your vintage Gucci and the current collection is the zipper pull. I actually like your zipper pull better. The new one is too plain.

Hey Mel! You might already know this but BrandOff (one of the eBay sellers you listed) are an actual store in Japan (they have shops everywhere here!) and they have a website and online store of their own. I would put a lot of faith in them to be selling authentic goods because the law in japan is quite strict and they have so many actual physical stores where you can come and look at the goods yourself! If you're ever back in Japan might be a place to check out x
