100% definitely recommend if you get rabbits having them in a hutch but keeping the door open allowing them to have space to run away. Rabbits need a lot of space to hop around. Definitely a good idea with the shed Grace.

I be got rabbits as well Grace defiantly get two. A rabbit shed sounds great. Please get your rabbit good quality farm hay as it’s the mean part of their diet.

bunnies are a lot of work, just as much as dogs. they’re also a huge commitment and can live up to 10+ years. what are your plans when you go to high school? what happens if you go off to college? you need to brush them a lot, clip their nails, get them spayed/neutered, vaccines, give them the proper diet, and you need to have a rabbit savvy vet nearby. they also cost A LOT of money, especially with the hay since they need endless supplies of it. if you get the bunnies, keep them indoors and let them free roam in your room. be prepared for walls and cables to be ruined (there are ways to bunny proof which you’ll need to do). having them outdoors is too dangerous, even if you have them enclosed. you never know what could get into the shed. also, the outside world has so many germs and disease which rabbits can easily catch and sadly pass away from. the shed is a great idea, but you can’t just get a plain old shed. you need to make sure to have working air/heat, make sure the shed is secure from all predators and bugs, etc. also, different weather conditions are a HUGE factor, especially with air and heat. since you’re getting 2, that’s good since they do get attached and do get separation anxiety. however, you have to make sure you have enough time to spend time with them, not just let them by themselves all day. allergies are also a huge factor and a huge reason why people get rid of their bunny. or sadly they just don’t care for them anymore and lose interest. trust me, i’m just like you and i want one, however you just need to make sure you’re gonna be able to provide for your own animal. i know what it’s like wanting one pet, getting it, then wanting another animal right away. you just need to make sure you’re focusing on your pets now but also are able to focus on the bunnies if you get them. i’m not trying to come off rude or mean, but i just want grace to see how much work goes into them. i’m happy she’s done her research, but make sure she’s 100% sure she’s ready and 100% committed.

I had rabbits when I was younger and they were such a good learning experience for me to have. I had a shed for my three rabbits and realistically they taught me the most about the fact I had to clean them our and feed them in the winter, rain and dark. At least with rabbits instead of hamsters they are awake in the daytime! Love you guys ❤️

The thing with rabbits is that they dig a lot you can dig down and line around it with chicken wire but it’s quite an annoying job so rabbits aren’t the most great pets I mean I definitely recommend them but yeah x

I have a rabbit and he lives in my bedroom and he sleeps on my bed at night and he is completely litter trained. I think indoor free roam is better personally. if you do the shed you should make sure its heated and spend lots of time with them. my rabbit thumper is the best thing thats ever happened to me so if you do research and know what to do I would highly recommend :)))))

I have rabbits and I have a two storey rabbit cage and I let them go on the grass all day but then they come in their cage at night time. When it’s winter time we usually bring them inside or we bring them inside when there is a storm or fire works. Hope that helps xx

I would 100% recommend guinea pigs over rabbits because they are a lot easier to look after and you can handle them more plus they don’t need as much space for them x
