I used to watch my mother make replica antique dolls. It was an exacting art of traditional method . The painstaking painting of the eyelashes and eyebrows with this tiny tiny headed brush. But I also remember the fun she had when she broke from that tradition, and did a doll 'her way'. She made fairies and mythical characters, and I LOVED those! She would have adored seeing what you create. 💜
