Hi Bunshinren! I just recently started my body suit. I found your channel about a month ago and I’ve watched literally every video you’ve posted on your channel. Your videos are extremely informative and they’ve been helping me a lot with my own suit. Anytime I see a new post from you I can’t wait until I’m able to check it out. It’ll probably take a few years for me to complete my suit but please continue making Japanese style tattoo content as I know it helps a lot of people out there looking to get into this beautiful style!

Lol it feels so good to hear that you also started at 24. I enrolled in tattoo school back in November and I had already 3 clients, though I felt like I started tattooing so “late” in life. Hearing you start at the same age as me now, makes me feel less alone. For once I picked up tattooing because it’s more secure than what the animation industry is going to be in the future because of AI…. And this was also my plan B if I I didn’t get into animation uni. Love your videos !

Sometimes internet makes me believe that I'm late to do something, because there is always someone who has their life planned, working and is younger than me, even though I'm young. It was good to know how old you started tattooing, because it's a young age and it helped me feel less pressure, it helped me remember that I don't need to feel late just because there are a lot of younger people on the internet who already work with tattoos. People are getting younger and younger in this world of tattoos, and I think that's good but sometimes it's also scary. Anyway, great video. Thanks for the answers!

It's important to not compare ourselves to others because we all have our own timelines. We have the gift of art in this world so please enjoy your own personal journey with it! All the best ~

Hello! Awesome video and energy from you, guys! I want to ask: I recently started to dive into Japanese tattoos and history. Rn reading books about Yokai and the 108 warriors) Is it considered weird or wrong if a non-japanese person will start to perform Irezumi on other people? I really am into making everything with respect to traditions and rules, and this is my only concern You are very inspiring, thank you for knowledges✨

Colour does go over black. And white goes over black too. You can have a sleeve. Completely black that sleeve out and have a full colour sleeve over the top. Colour not going over black is an outdated nonsense. It works

Love your channel but as a brown person with coloured tattoos, I found that answer about “foundations” pretty disappointing. I mean I believed the same for years until I met a tattoo artist last year that gave me beautiful coloured tattoos that remain striking, regardless my “foundation”. 🤷🏻♀️
