Hello my name is Emillia Eizleen Binti Md Azhar from Universiti Sains Malaysia. I have question regarding the lack of fit . For my data, i have taken it from journal given by my lecturer and need to model and optimize it. However, the data taken from the article has significant lack of fit , but the model has good R2 and has significant . I have tried to do the model reduction as well as transformation, but the model still have significant lack of fit. In fact, all the suggested and non suggested model in the fit summary have significant lack of fit. So, my question is could I proceed with my model for optimization since it have good R2 and other graph seems okay except the lack of fit.
