@@wildknitsglasgow To be honest, this has been a critical question for me and something I have been grappling with this year with my own work (different field but a creative discipline as well). I truly believe that once you are able to answer this question for yourself, it brings clarity and even more creativity to your work. Any way, I truly appreciate creatives like yourself who speak transparently about this conundrum. It helps us all. :)

I love this so much! I released my first sewing pattern this year and I 100% agree with all of your reflections. It’s not as “successful” immediately like you might think it be. But like you say define what success means for you and be proud of each step. Thank you for this and for the motivation to keep going ❤
