Maybe she's a coal miner's daughter, and she goes in to the caves to bring her father lunch every day. That's why she's so familiar with the caves and spends time in them. She sings while she walks because the caves are a little scary and it gives her courage. Her animal companion is a canary because her mother insists she have one while she's traveling underground to be sure that the air is still breathable- in this fantasy world it's common to have a pet like this to tell you when the air is bad (instead of just dying from asphyxiation)

I kinda wish we have a movie of a princess that is really "princessy". Like those stryotypical princess. Not the princess that wants to go out, explore, find more about herself, who does not want to marry this random prince she does not like. She's the princess that loves her life in the castle, she doesn't need to go find who she is, she knows who she is. She's the future ruler of her kingdom. And then she got thrown into the woods somehow so she have to adapt to the environment change. She used to live in a castle with servants around and a clean dress all the time. Now, she have to get herself dirty, find herself some food and try not to die while trying to search for a way out of the woods. I don't know why but I really want this type of story.

Merida is exactly what they're tired of: a princess that hates being a princess, and wants to escape the castle and do her own thing. We don't have any disney princesses that live a good life in a castle and are happy with it. I guess Pocahontas but she wasn't a girly princess like OP describes. Elsa and Snow White were abused and ran away, Merida and Moana and Ariel both wanted more (Rapenzel too in her cartoon sequel), the rest were not princesses to start with or wasn't raised as one. The closest we get is Anna, who wanted more but she didn't hate her role as a princess/leader like the others. She hated the isolation and was very happy being princess once the gates were open.

I think there’s a spirit in the cave that she feels drawn to, and the only way she’s been able to talk to it is through song. The spirit doesn’t respond when she just speaks, so they have to communicate through duets and echos with double meanings, and eventually she learns of the hardships the spirit endured as a human and it inspires her to make her kingdom better for the people or something idk

Story line: She's a Princess known far and wide for her beautiful singing. It was also her favorite thing to do and she loved ainging for large audiences at her father's kingdom. Then one day the fire nation attacked (lol) but more like a dictator attacked the castle, wanting to rule it as his own. She and her family was able to flee the kingdom in time, but they lost word of her father. Now she and her mother must stay in hiding until things go back to normal. Since their is a bounty out for her and she is known for her singing voice, it would be to dangerous to sing in public, so she only consoles herself by singing in the cave a little way off from their hiding place, where she and her mother who once lived in the lap of luxury must now work in order to survive.

I also wanted to add a story idea! Maybe she is the daughter of a miner or the supervisor for the coal mine. She brings lunches to the men working every day and has a pet canary she brings along. Her father doesn't like her entering the mines because they are dangerous but she explores them anyway after delivering the lunches and sings all the while. She does this to the point where she knows the mines almost better than some of the men who are afraid to travel down too deep. One night she gets into a fight with her father about going into the mines and is grounded and not allowed to deliver the lunches anymore. Though tragedy strikes, a cave in traps her father and the others inside and no one else knows the mines well enough to enter! She knows another way into the mines, a passage far from the main site, making the journey through the crumbling mine to find her father and lead them all home safely. Maybe add in some scheming bad guy who wants to take the mine for themselves and stages the cave in to scare them away or even kill her father who could be the owner. Maybe she uses her voice and the echoes from the caves to trick the bad guys into thinking she has more people with her.

Maybe music of all kinds is outlawed because music attracts the magical creatures of the forest. And the kingdom is afraid of the magical creatures, especially the big scary beast in the forest. She goes off and finds a magnificent cavern of crystals where her singing reverberates like. A cathedral. She thinks she’s safe from the forest creatures there, but she summons a cave-dwelling magical creature that is scary looking but very sweet and has a beautiful trilling voice. She makes friends with a bunch of forest creatures and they sing and makes music together (she makes a musical instrument out of things she finds in the woods).And in the end the princess makes friends with the big scary beast through the power of music.

Oww I like the idea of her being the only child in the village. She might have survived a curse that befell the village. Unfortunately, no child was able to make it past the first year of their lives for the last 15 years. She is a miracle! To have overcome the curse and keep on living. This is why she is extremely precious in her village. Everyone loves her and treats her with affection. This becomes tedious at times, feeling like being coddled. Overwhelmed by all the attention and responsibilities, she started sneaking off to the nearby woods. Just to escape from the reality a little. This way, she discovered the cave one day AND someone who appeared to be around her own age. She never saw anyone else who was around her own age, before. Curious and excited, she tries to befriend this new human being who looks very unkept. He has knotted long hair, mud on his face, and he looks to be as curious her. (He is a feral child and had never seen another young person before either). Gradually they become friends. She gets him food, he helps her explore the forest...

Ok, so my spin on the story would be something in the lines of: The young girl lives in a big steampunk-ish City. It is a trading metropolis, so she sees a lot of different people and cultures everyday. While she loves the city life and the experience she gathers everyday, she feels that something is missing. Singing on the streets or in taverns is fun, but no one has time to really listen. That is fine, but sometimes she just needs someone to listen to her with all their heart. That is why she is excited when she finds the caves. They seem to listen to her in a way no one else does and they just seem magical to her. She finds inspiration for her songs in the caves and a thrill she never got in the city. It is a special place no one else knows about. Just hers’. ...well and her Canary’s. But what if someone else discovers her magical caves or what if someone already knows about them and the caves arn't the only thing listening? Will she be able to deal with her anger and disappointment? And how will her adventures away from home affect the young girls family ? This might be a bit stereotypical though. But I like the idea.... Might just be the steampunk though.😅 Edit: I can't seem to spell for the life of me. Sorry about that.

* alternative storyline* In this alternative storyline she actually has a twin sister. Her sisters name is Sophia while her name is Clara. This is set in the mid to late 1800’s. So, one day the royal family was being attacked by an evil witch who happens to be the queens sister. The royal family decides to travel to a neighboring kingdom and live there while they are trying to get their kingdom back under control. During the travel the witch finds them and the twins (Who are about 3 to 4) get separated from the queen and king and then get separated from each other. They both get found by villagers from different villages about 20 or so miles away from each other. Clara grows up to be this adventurous tomboyish girl who loves to go to the cave and sing. Sophia grows up to be a well behaved, well mannered girl who also likes to go to a cave and sing (“different” caves). The twins are now 16 and don’t remember their life before living in the Villages. All I can remember from the time before is their mother singing them a special lullaby. One day they both end up going to the caves at the same time and Clara start singing the lullaby and starts to hear another similar voice to hers singing the same lullaby. Clara has a best friend named Lucas in the village and Sophia has a best friend named Henry in her village. Clara starts talking to this person and learns that her name is Sophia and decides that she needs to go and find Sophia because she feels a very strong connection with her. Sophia feels the same and decides that she needs to go and find Clara they both decided this without talking to each other so they both go on their own separate journeys to try and find each other. Clara tells Sophia about her village and Sophia does the same. Unbeknownst to them the evil witch hears them singing this lullaby and goes after them. Clara ends up getting to Sophia’s Village and meeting Henry and Sophia and up getting to Clara‘s village and meeting Lucas. Henry and Lucas are so confused because they look identical but are completely not the same at all. Both Henry and Lucas decide to take the girls back to the caves in the cave they decide to follow their deep into the cave and realize that their caves are connected so they’re traveling through these caves and they need to which both of them at separate times when they finally meet each other they have a big battle with The witch henry falls in love with Clara and Sophia falls in love with Lucas they find out who they are because the witch tells them and so they get to the neighboring kingdom that their parents have been staying at hoping that one day they would come back and they live happily ever after.

For the story maybe: She knows that she’s a princess. But she’s fed up with wearing frilly gowns, with perfect hair. She escapes from the royal life each day to the cave, and when she’s there her hair is messy and she changes into a tunic and leggings. At the cave, she meets another girl who also escapes from reality. The other girl escapes from a less than perfect life, and her family is dropping in status drastically due to charges for crimes they didn’t commit. Our main character has the hide that she’s really the princess, to help her friend. They go on this crazy, but awesome adventure to find some sort of treasure and or item that is super rare, that you can trade at the market. When the main character gets back to the castle, she tries to pretend the adventure didn’t happen, but lets it slip, and her friend is threatened to be exiled. She has to come up with a plan to save her friend and herself before her father (the king) figured out what is happening. In the end it all works out. Okaaay so here’s what I got: (for ref ima just call this girl Rosalyn) Sooo Rosalyn’s father is a miner, he comes home dirty and tired but happy to see his wife and daughter very nice. Often before he has rested, he’ll tell Rosalyn stories abt the mines and the many caves he works in. Making up stories abt magic and mystery that fascinate her, he usually focuses them on the canaries that are used in mines and so Rosalyn being absolutely enthralled with this decides she wants to be a canary and sings all the time around the house. Her father often sings alongside her and they have their own little song that he sings when he gets near the house that she sings back in order to find each other on his way home. Sooo when he doesn’t come home singing one night everyone is worried, they send out search parties in vain. Rosalyn however, believes her father had been taken by some jealous witch in one of the caves. She takes it upon herself to go to a cave in search of him each evening as the sun begins to set, singing their song into the cave and attracting that little canary. One night while singing she hears a voice singing back, but it doesn’t sound like her father... it must be the witch who stole her fathers voice and is keeping him locked away. I imagine that it’s not actually a witch but a princess whose been put under some curse that Rosalyn helps to break as they follow the sound of each other’s voices throughout the caves.

I think Liz would be a really cute name for her! I also think that maybe as a story, she sings into the cave because she’s lonely. The society isn’t necessarily bad or good, shes just lonely. The cave she sings into has lots of tunnels (but she doesn’t really explore them) the cave has a tunnel that leads another part of the town (or village or wherever) and someone else listens. That character is around their age and they are also lonely so they come and listen to her sing (they don’t know each other) but one day her canary flies to where the listener is they meet up. At first they are awkward but then they start to bond and they become good friends! If you want a happy ending, you can leave it like that but if you want a sad ending here’s an idea: they become best friends and tell each other everything but one day the listening one disappears. She tries to look for them but she can’t find them and she’s really sad.. She stays lonely forever.. (or you can do vis versa) also when I said “the listening person or the listener” I meant that second person. You don’t have to use this story line but it’s just a suggestion! Have a really nice day! 💜 ✨

Oh my gosh while you explain the story and drawing I can’t stop hearing the Snow White well song in my head. “I’m wishing (I’m wishing)” and especially the part where she goes “ah ah ah ah ah” and her echoe Harmonizes with her. Idea for the story- She likes go to the cave to get away from her older brother and his friends. They tease her a lot but the brother really does love her. One day her mother/father send her off to the palace as a servant to repay a debt they owe to the kingdom. The prince falls in love with her but fails to confess his feelings to her before she finishes her job. She returns to the village and he searches the kingdoms for her for years. He describes her as a beautiful girl with an amazing voice (and other stuff lol) The other girls from her village know it’s her and make her all ugly the day the prince is coming to the village to search. But the brother knows it’s his sister and leads the prince to the cave. She no longer goes there to hide from her brother but just to sing. He recognizes her from her voice and they get married. The story ends happily ever after. Just an idea. I’m sorry if it’s basic or boring but I thought it was alright.

Might be a sad story line but: She and her sister used to play and sing together alot. They lived in a cottagecore- like house in the woods, closeby were rivers and mountains they used to go to. They loved playing with each other but what they most enjoyed was singing. They both sounded like angels and they knew it. They came across a cave one day and sang their favorite song on their way in, they quickly realized the cave had a beautiful echo, almost as if it sang along with them. (later) her little sister got sick and knew she didn’t have long, her last wish was to sing their favorite song one more time together with her and the perfect echo. Shortly after her little sister passed. She didn’t want to go to the caves anymore as there were to many memories, until one day she felt like she had to visit, so she went with tears in her eyes she stared at the entrance. She started singing her and her little sisters favorite song, just one last time, or so she thought. A voice sang alot with her, but it didn’t sound like the echo. The voice was too in sync, she quickly realized it was her little sister’s voice/echo singing along with her. Her little sister may not walk the earth anymore, but her voice/echo will always live on in the very cave they once so loved. I’m not a writer but I hope you get what I meant with my story🥺

I feel like her name would be something fancy like Elizabeth or Eleanor and her parents would call her that, but she would demand to be called Ellie or some shortened version of her name. Also the first story that came to mind, though it’s very basic, is that her parents are forcing her to have like one of those fancy well-respected jobs (like a lawyer or a doctor to make a comparison), but she just wants to sing and make people happy with her singing. (Just thought of this part: She would go out into the town square and sing for everyone, but her parents caught her and they had an argument and forbid her from singing.) So she would go to the caves, the only place where she could sing and be herself with no fear. Sorry the story is SUPER basic

Storyline idea - Her parents disappeared years ago and now she lives with her aunt and uncle who hate her and blame her for her parents death. She goes to the cave to sing to get away from them because they can never find her there. Her parents were the ones who taught her to sing in the first place, so it's her way of coping with their loss and feeling like they're there with her. So beautiful!! I always enjoy seeing the process of how you come up with and design your characters. She was giving me major Laura Engles vibes but that's okay. I love Little House on the Prairie. It's a show that I would usually watch every morning. For the story, I imagine, either she gets teased or lives with a step-mother who makes her work, and when she's not looking she sneaks off. She goes out exploring and discovers upon these caves and one day while she's singing animals appear. Now whenever she goes to the caves to sing, the animals know it's her and come to hear her sing. It's a little like Snow White. I was also thinking she can be like Snow White in a way but in the 1860s. 😁

She didn't know she was a princess and in the middle of her life in the village her biological father and mother (the king and the queen) came and picked up although she didnt want to because she has all her loved ones in there and lived all of her life there but they took her away because she was their only child and they wanted someone to be the queen after them. She was far far away from the village and she wanted to ran away so every evening she would sneak out of the castle to a cave and every time she would sing she would hear an aco of a boy she would also ask the boy questions and they talked and sing together for a year and then the main character decided to ran away to find her way in this cave and finally meet the boy she was singing with and talking to. Hope you liked the story that I made up and that you'll use it and if course you can change whatever you like in the story if you dont like it❤

I like her running off to the cave cause she found a hidden letter/map in her bedroom. She was walking and tripped over a loose floor board and pulled it up and found it. She runs to the cave cause it claims to have a secret treasure. After spelunking into the cave she finds a hidden race of fairies, or some other mystical creature. She goes though a journey understanding why these creatures had to hide away in the cave. She discovers their history and tries to protect them. Then the villain of the story finds out where these creatures live and claims they are dangerous and evil and tries to fill in the cave to destroy them all. But your character finds a way to save them and brings them back to the earth.

STORY IDEA ABOUT THE CHARACTER YOU JUST DESIGNED. I NAMED HER ECHO ECHO Her aunt, (her mother’s sister, lets just call her Daisy) would go into caves and sing. Daisy tried to get her sister to come with her, but she thought the caves were dangerous and didn’t want to go in. One day they both went to the cave, and she found that she liked doing so. They sang in the cave everyday, but one day Daisy went missing. Daisy’s sister assumed that she went to the cave. So she went in and called for her. She could only hear her echo. She still doesn’t know if Daisy got lost in the cave. But she never trusted to go in the caves after that day. Later, she named her daughter Echo, to remind her of her sister. She told Echo everyday not to go near the caves in the woods. But, Echo was drawn to them. She would tell her mother that she was going to the market or someplace else, and sneak out. She did this at least 2 times a week for almost a year. One day, she found that her echo, didn’t really sound like her echo, she went deeper into the cave trying to find the source of the singing that wasn’t her own. She kept singing and tried to follow the “echo”. She had to come back the next day because it was getting too dark. The next day, she went back to the cave, she sang, but no echo. She sang again, it was only her own. She couldn’t here the other voice anymore. She was worried that someone was lost in the cave and was becoming starved. She didn’t know how to help them. She kept coming back everyday. No echo. The last time she came home, her mother asked her where she was. She said that she was at the market again. Her mother said that she was at the market all day and did not see her. Echo didn’t want to lie anymore. She told her mother that she went to the cave and heard a voice coming from it. Her mother was furious with her and said that she was just hearing her echo. Echo tried to explain that it wasn’t her own voice and that she though someone was stuck in the cave. Her mother had a thought for a split second, a fantasy it seemed like. She thought of her sister, and how she could be the one her daughter was hearing. The thought quickly vanished. She knew her sister was gone. And if she had gotten lost in the cave, she didn’t want her daughter anywhere near them. She sent Echo to her room and told the guards to black off the cave with anything they could find. Echo didn’t know of her aunt. She didn’t know why her mother didn’t want her in the caves. But if there was someone there, she had to help them. Echo snuck out in the middle of the night. The cave was blocked off with rocks. There was a hole in the top of the cave though, where light could shine through. She knew it would be way too dark in there so she went back to the castle and took a torch from one of the long hallways. She went back to the cave. She called Berry, her canary, and held the torch tightly in her hand. She carefully climbed up the cave and slipped through the small hole in the top. She almost dropped the torch when she landed with a loud thump on her behind. She caught the torch as it was falling and picked herself up. She could see now. It was still dark and scary, but if someone was lost in this cave, she could work up the guts to find them. She travelled through the cave. There weren’t that many turns or twists... yet. She figured that if she went further the person who was lost would be able to hear her better. She sang. Her song was weak. She was trembling. Though there was light, she was still scared of the cave. She kept going. She kept singing. She tried to keep her voice strong, but the fire was getting smaller and smaller. She sang, and she heard the voice. She immediately called out, “Hello? Are you lost? Do you need help?” No answer. She kept singing. She kept hearing the echo, but when she spoke to it, she heard no reply. There were two tunnels. She asked the echo which one they were in? No answer. Echo mumbled to herself. She knew she would have to do this alone. She went down one path a kept singing. She heard no echo. She turned to go back, but saw something standing there. It was a dark figure. She stood there staring at it. She finally spoke up, “H-hello?” There were tears in her eyes already. She was shaking so much she could barely hold the torch any longer. She walked closer and spoke again, “Hello?” This time she tried to sound brave, but it came out sad and afraid still. She kept going closer. She held the torch in front of the figure and... it disappeared. It was completely gone. She looked around frantically, she was no longer paralyzed with fear, it was mainly relief that the figure was gone. She turned back and went down the other tunnel. She kept singing and listening for the voice. The echo was getting louder. She knew she had to be close. She started to jog, she wanted to find the person trapped here as soon as possible. Wait- there was a- a light. The cave... ended. She looked through the small hole that the light had been coming through. It was her bedroom. She saw someone sitting on her bed, singing... it looked an awful lot like her... her mother came in. She started to talk to the girl on her bed like it was her daughter. Echo was terrified. What was on her bed? It wasn’t her. Echo’s mother had left the room. The girl sitting on Echo’s bed turned and faced Echo. She walked closer and spoke, “Have fun in your new home. Hope someone finds you. :)” Echo was shocked. This had to be a dream. She began to speak, but she felt something grab her face and pull her back. She could still see the girl that looked like her through the tiny hole. “Bye bye... Echo...” That... that turned out as a horror story... Oops

But one day her mom finds out that their family is distantly related to the deceased count, and that they have to move into the big city and take the count's place. But Waldtraut doesn't want to, and to release anger she sings. In a cave. One day, the day before the big move, she finds a secret passageway in the cave to some sort of town, where no one lives so therefore its kinda creepy. She decides if she can convince her mom that this place really is special, she and her family can stay there. At that villiage she also finds that canary who she names Gerdie. But her mom will have none of that, so waldtraut decided to find a new way to stay in the hills. One day while she's singing, she realizes that her echo is actually attached to another girl. She meets this other girl, and turns out that this other girl, Jutta, is more closely related to the dead count than Waldtraut so... Happily ever after! Yay. It’s kinda weird that I like watching her draw fashion because normally it doesn’t interest me. Maybe it’s just because I like Rin.

She’s very adorable, here’s my interpretation of the story. (Idk what her name is but I feel like she should be called Pricilla) So Pricilla was born in a poor environment, where it’s small alleyways and twists and turns, everybody has farm land but is still struggling. Where she lives it’s very, like expecting. They have these picture perfect people that the world try’s to shape. Which ends up in simulated and fake barbie girls and men who can’t do their dreams. Pricilla wanted to do her dreams, but nobody approved, which they took her to this class. In which, they taught her how to be a “perfect” lady. She hated that class, with all the makeup and dresses, although she did like dresses. She ran home and cried, but she got in trouble for being emotional. One day, a very rough day she ran out of her house and just kept running, and running, and running. It took forever. She needed to rest in a cave, which she entered, she dreamed of having a friend by her side but due to her differences she was kept away. So when she heard the echo, she began singing and talking. Eventually she came home and, she made up a lie that she went to the library, not the local one. Pricilla said she didn’t like the books at that one, so it took her long. Her parent’s told her she needed a man by her side to go that far, but she denied it. Everyday she would go to the library, and come home in a great mood. Which books never made her, *this* happy. Her parents got suspicious and talked to the librarian, which said Pricilla had never came here recently. Her parents banned her form the cave and field where she would sing. But she snuck out to the cave, where she sang but a different voice echoed back. Everyday she would talk this voice, everybody thought she was crazy, but she loved this mysterious person in the cave. This person loved her. Finally, oneday they came out. The two became inseparable. Thank you for reading, this was just my idea. Have a good day everybody! :))
