DIORAMUS - The Art of Scale Modelling

Күн бұрын

This is the final episode of my Stalingrad diorama project. In this part I attach an industrial pipe and more rubble elements on the diorama. With this project I want to show that a diorama build is possible without expensive boughts of additional kits to pimp your projects. It needs a only a few figures, parts from your scrapbox, colors, some plastic sheet and a lot of fantasy.
Please watch all other episodes of this project if you haven´t already.
Here are the links:

Part 4 • Designing Total Devast...
As always I hope you enjoy my work and don´t hesitate to post your questions or your suggestions in the comments. I look forward to every comment and every suggestion.
Stay tuned for the next episodes and projects on this channel.

My mind has been stuck in a sort of rut for weeks trying to figure out my next diorama and after watching this i now have a plan and how thankful i am , i hate getting stuck like this for long periods and i have well over 100 kits of armor and figues and have all the tools and supplies and just bought a proxxon thermal cutter for foam . I think that the more stuff you have makes it much harder to concentrate on one particular build and you get stuck. Well its modeling time now again .

You are absolutely right, i think the main problem is, that we were raised to always want more. This is how we lose touch with what is important. The most important thing on scale modelling is the process until it is done. That is the fun and everytime a little adventure, because you never know exactly how the result will be. Keep on modelling and I wish you the best time while you doing this.

Great job - but I think it would be more realistic with some (a lot of:D) holes (bullet and shrapnel) on that pipe.
@DIORAMUS-
@DIORAMUS- 2 жыл бұрын
Thanks una, I didn´t think about shrapnel damage until you mentioned it. Damned, you´re right.👍 The material is soft enough and I can rework it. Thank you. I will post it in the community when it is done.

What a finish! Your scratchbuilding is spot on. The pipe totally works with the scene and is very convincing. Maverick mentioned the scene is atmospheric. He is right about that. It draws you right in...almost like you are there. There is so much detail to take in. How many hours do you think you invested in this project? You have not only an eye for detail but obviously a ton of patience.

Hello Paul, sorry I stil owe you an answer. Better late than never. 😉Roundabout including the video production the project took ca. 150 hrs in the making. The detailing is an immense time consuming process. I hope you are not upset about the late reply. I must have missed your question the first time I read it.
