Some of those people who attended the DYL workshop I hosted were asking about a workbook - and an ongoing DYL group--and you've just answered those questions! Excellent and Thank you.

The book has impacted my thinking by changing the way I think about networking. I think, by seeing networking with other people as both an opportunity to let them shine and to learn from someone who is further along in their career, it has made the whole concept a lot more exciting (and less scary). :)

The DYL book has been so incredibly helpful for me that I've started calling myself a "DYL Evangelist." I've personally bought the book for 3 friends, and recommended it to countless others, as well as taking a training at my campus. For me, the most valuable components were the energy meter and the Good Time Journal. Although it sounds simple, I'd never before tracked my energy and feelings in such detail, and it helped me realize that aspects of my current career track in academia were far more draining than inspiring. The book has helped me and others achieve 'actionable insights'--thank you!

I've enjoyed using the exercises in the DYL book with our college students because it gives them the necessary space that they need to slow down and do the hard work of self-reflection. More importantly, it also gets them to think outside the proverbial box that they have been bound to and think of different creative ways to imagine moving forward. Getting current college students excited about moving towards small, manageable actions can be more rewarding than they thought possible. The book is a keeper, and so excited that there is now a Workbook to work off of!!

The DYL book helped me to organize my thoughts and think more strategically about my self and my future. I read this book while making a drastic career change, and now that I have a new job, getting my hands on the #DYLDiary means that I could fill out the pages from a new perspective, refreshing that "you are here" mentality!

The book has freed me to be confident in making decisions based not off of what is considered "practical" to others, but according to what energizes me and gets me excited to take the next step. #DYLDiary

As a college professional working in Career Development, I've found the book to offer a creative approach to debunking many career myths. By being so action-oriented, it allows students to be able to take tangible action steps without locking themselves in to a narrow career path. I am very interested in learning more about how we can further integrate these concepts into our services. I'd love to be able to check out the diary and think it's a great way to keep ideas all in one place. #DYLDiary

I started reading the core book a couple of years ago but stalled trying to comprehend all of the pieces. I also did not have the workbook. I assume reading the book without having and using the workbook is not the best approach.

I recently discovered DYL and have been reading up on it, watching the various videos and going through the creativelive class right now. its been amazing so far and a real paradigm shift to how I now view my life. the #DYLDiary looks really useful and I'd love to use one but there is currently none available right now where I live :(
