I kinda feel like the suit at 11:16 would be scary to many citizens, which is good for villains, but if he's saving people from a bruning house or something seing a dark looking Spider-Man would be scarier. It also reminds me of the current Miles suit in the main run, how it has the half mask look.

I had even imagined the hood, but in my head I omitted it because I didn’t want it to be copying Gwen’s suit or something So awesome to see someone do such a similar design to what I had in my head!! Now I’m just sad that I gotta get a new idea, lol

You're insights on these suits and their issues are always very spot on. I also feel like people like to fuck with the straps and lines too much. For instance, the suit design that basically ripped off of yours...what's with the straps around the shoulders on the back portion? It looks like Spidey is wearing an off the shoulder blouse. Arguably, even on the classic suit, the bit that is the strangest and seems to serve no purpose is the blue on the arms and how it rides under the arms but doesn't form a full sleeve. Trump that up with people redesigning the classic suit and trying to be cool and different by going nuts with that part of the costume, and you end up with some really odd stylistic choices that look pretty weird and off-putting. I've seen some redesigns where the straps make Spider-Man look like he's wearing suspenders, and it's just strange. I'm a big fan of having a reason to change the way the blue portion of Spidey's suit. If you're going to give Spidey an off the shoulder woman's blouse, then you sure as hell better have a good reason for doing that. 😂

20:23 spider legs can vary from 6 to 10 depending on the spider species. So it’s not necessarily a bad thing to change the spider logo to a different type of arachnid.

@The Perfect Mix It's still the same thing. Spider-Man's classic suit represents Peter Parker. When he has the symbiote suit he's a menace, represented by his suit. A spidersona can't be, idk, a smart but kind girl and then have a suit that's black, red, has claws and scary eyes. It won't match. It's the same thing, the TASM suit is scary because Peter is angry. The TASM 2 suit is friendly because he's not angry anymore, he's the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. Superior Spider-Man's suit is black and red, it's menacing. That's because it's not Peter Parker, its Doc Ock, someone who isn't afraid of killing people or leaving them really hurt, as well as being way scarier than normal Spidey. A spidersona's suit reflects its personality as much as a common Spider-Man suit does.
