EXTREME Kitchen Makeover!! Small 90's kitchen to HUGE Open Concept- Before and After

Oh my gosh, you guys! Today is the day!!! I am sooo excited to finally show you the results of our extreme kitchen makeover! A BIG shout out to Cafe Appliances for partnering with this video!! Okay...let me tell you, this one has been a process. We were worried that we wouldn't have the kitchen finished in time, but we did it!...well, there is one piece missing, but you will understand when you see it. If you guys remember, this kitchen was built in the 90's and it was a bit of a tight and closed off space. Even thought the home is on the smaller side of things, my goal was to open up the kitchen and make it feel more custom. I think we pulled it off, but I want to hear your thoughts in the comments.

That kitchen wall looks just like the perimeter wall of my grandparents' backyard and is very Portuguese, I love seeing it as a kitchen wall Loving the shaker style cabinets as well, I am really looking into those for a next kitchen. The only thing I like differently is everything drawers. My kitchen now is everything drawer and I cannot go back to cabinets 😄

This is a very interesting kitchen. The stone would not be my choice, but I like the idea. The leathered granite counter and faucet are beautiful. Boy your telling meee. I learned that quick about the Gray color. Looks gray on sample sheets and then once on wall,you will see some green or Blue very tricky color to do.

Dreamy beautiful kitchen! I wish I would have had your videos in 2012 when we renovated our kitchen :) I need to install wood floors in my family room. I would like wide planks with a grayish wash. What wood do you recommend that will not be crazy expensive? Is it white oak? The area is about 500 sq feet. Thanks!

I love, love, love the stone but would love to know if there’s something on it to protect it from absorbing the splatter when cooking. My tile back splash never escapes spaghetti sauce. I love the fern and vase on the table too.

@@DesignLovesDetail It's highly porous as is the mortar. It will be a mess if you don't seal it. There are dead flat finishes that will not impart any sheen to the stone.

Odd you talked about the arch windows looking dated. I didn't think so at all, and all the "2021 trends" videos I've seen have said curves (including arches) are back in style.

Yes! I do love arches myself, but just the shape of the grids in the arched sections are a bit of an 80s/90s style. Turned out the grids weren’t too noticeable in the overall scheme of things once the rest was updated. :)
