hi sir, I'm reading your papers from past 4 years. when DSTATCOM is operating as a VCM we need to generate reference voltages or reference currents. And why CCM and VCM cant be achieved at a time.

Inner control will be voltage reference because the signal will trigger PWM gate driver that convert DC link voltage to be PWM voltage waveform

It depends on the inverter topology, full-bridge inverters allow for bi-directional power flow, as oppose to half-bridge which only go one way

Tune P part (first skip I) , increaseP until response start to oscillate, then reduce P to 30%, then open I part tune I part until rise time as fast as possible with only little overshoot
