I’m no desiigner fan, but after all this, he started to donate from his profits to people and organizations in need. Mad respect for that. That information should’ve also been included in this video. Js.

This is why i don't like consumers of trends and popularity because it's not like the music isn't good people are just trend hoppers. Desiigner actually is a great artist. I feel like the best strategy if you explode on your first album is to tell the world and make it very clear that you only plan to make 4 albums before retiring. More people will be willing to collaborate to be apart of that project, your fans will be more patient by default and when you finish people will not treat you like you fell off because they'll understand that you did what you came to do. Even if one album wasn't as good, as long as the last one is solid people will later re-listen and appreciate the bad album just because they want more, or because they're contrarians. Then in like 6-7 years if you're bored you could drop another album and people would be happy just to have something, even if they didn't listen to you back then people will hop on the wave.

His biggest downfalls were getting known for panda and him being mocked for how he talked. Out of curiosity i searched him up years ago and he actually made good and coherent music with great production such as HOOD, GLE, Destiination, etc. I also liked his dark vibe songs like Timmy Turner and Holy Ghost, they gave me a similar feeling to antidote listening to them The only issue is the crowd that was hype over Panda or clowned him for how he talked didn't give those tracks a chance. I advise anyone to listen to those tracks and similar and you'd be shocked that's the same Desiigner that got famous for panda and you could barely understand.

This is one of the first instances where I saw Kanye learned this from Jay-Z…. Jump on someone’s song make it yours and deplete an artist that can never top his success.. and then they always get painted as druggies or crazy..

I’m so sad because he was very talented Timmy Turner, Zombie Walk & even diva ! He had talent, the dedication but he was missing a solid team, managers even his father I don’t know how come nobody advised him to do a song with future like? They just don’t care in this industry.
