I know most ppl get locs for the length. But my 1yr old locs loc bomb at this short lenght and compliments my features the best. I will not grow mine out. I love the short spunky look, it just have more personality imo. Long locs can weigh your overall look down in certain way.

I thought from the pics you cut it all the way off lol but I fully understand I had to do the same last year. My locs were already long by itself but out of being bored being in the house I started to DIY my own loc extensions and I was loving the extreme length (until wash day) but it was nice. Once everything opened up a little I went to my stylist to get my locs done and my stylist told me my hair was starting to thin..so before it got to that point I told her to cut some..when I got home I just said screw it and cut more to a Bob length too. Now since I’m taking hair pills my own hair is on my shoulders and I’m happy. I just didn’t want to start all over again because I love my locs and I can’t see myself going back to anything else. I was happier knowing the extensions are gone so enjoy! I miss my long locs and was scared at first but once you even it out it will be ok. I looks great!!

Hi! Thankyou for the guidance. I’m surprised that when your mother was addressing the weak loc issues, that she didn’t mention dying the locs.Hypothyroidism is another issue for thinning.Question.. will tying the lock prohibit those little Shirley temple coils at the end of individual locs? I look at those coils as an indication that my hair is growing. Again Thankyou for the guidance 😃💕

I went from having hair almost to my belly button to a full blown pixie cut with a shaved side cut after all of the tumbleweeds when I had postpartum shedding. You are certainly ot the same as you were before having a baby. It feels so good when you finally cut out the old "habits" and trim the dead ends from your life
