You don't have to daytrade everyday. 1) Research seasonal cycles (what months are best and worst) for your asset. 2) Study the intrady chart for best swings (what days of the week get the most volume). Take screen shots for pattern recognition and strategy. Back test. Institutional Money (banks, pensions, hedge funds) operate on business schedule. Money flows. 1) 1st-3rd of new month. 2) 14th-17th (middle of month) 3) 27th-30th (end of month). Many assets only have 10 good days for easy trading. Or they are already trending and you missed the move. Be at the computer on the best days with the best opportunities.
