The cushion is one of my all-time favorite foundations. This and Armani Luminous Silk are my Holy Grail foundations. My skin looks better every time I use this one due to the skincare ingredients. It's perfect for the dry winter months for mature skin. I wore it recently for an all day special event. It was layered with the Armani in areas where I needed a bit more coverage. Didn't require setting. Applied at 6 a.m. and still firmly in place at 9 p.m. The lasting power was unmatched. It never caked up or settled into my fine lines. It's absolute perfection. My only wish is that the packaging was less bulky.

Both amazing but if you have the budget, I’d go for the La Prarie. It’s a true anti-aging product and it’s just a touch smoother. You can’t go wrong with either though. 💛

Thank you for this review…I love Cle de Peau products. Unlike you, I have normal to oily skin, which is nearly normal in the cooler months and can be very oily in the hot, humid Southern summer. A couple of the foundations offered by Cle de Peau don’t work for me or, I suspect, for others with oily skin. What does work is the newest formulation of The Foundation (the previous formula was too shiny), but likely only in cooler weather. The liquid formulas work well and I prefer the Natural finish over the matte because it is lighter. My true foundation love is a cushion foundation. I love the convenience, the finish, ease of application and end result. However, I think Cle de Peau’s cushion, as beautiful as it is, likely is best in cooler weather and it will have to be powdered. I’ve also found it is not long wearing on oily skin, as in 6 hours or more. What does work for those with combination oily skin is the newer Sisley Paris cushion foundation. It’s extremely long wearing, blurring, doesn’t oxidize and can be built up to medium coverage. Most important to this combo skin woman-it is transfer resistant. Thanks again.

I’d go with the Cle De Peau especially if your skin is normal to dry. If your skin is very oily, you may enjoy the Dior cushion more because the Cle De Peau would be very dewy and glow-y.

Hello, How do you think the radiant natural foundation would affect sensitive skin? I know it has fragrance and some other ingredients that are usually on my radar but I’m so tempted to try this 😅 Also, have you tried this concealer? Is it a must along with it?

Hi! Thanks for the note! I haven’t heard any negative feedback from users with sensitive skin but best to try a sample first especially if you are very sensitive to fragrance. The stick Cle De Peau concealer is great but no longer my favorite since it was reformulated about a year ago. The other concealer from Cle de Pea has lighter coverage (the click pen one) and it’s still amazing. I’ll be posting “Best of Luxury makeup” in a few weeks with my absolute favorites. Hi! 💛 Your shade in Teint Precioux will be Amber Beige; Sandy Beige may be a bit light but could work too with bronzer. I was just notified by my connection at Saks that it may be reformulated soon as they are not receiving inventory anymore.

Hi!! I can suggest quite a few (except for the cushion) but my favorite is definitely the Radiant Neutral. I occasionally have combo skin type now in the summer and it works perfectly. The Radiant matte would be suitable as well if you want more coverage. 💛

Thank you so much! Yes, I love the La Mer mist. I use it almost every day regardless of I’m wearing a lot of makeup or just a tinted moisturizer. It hydrates nicely and melts all powders.

Hi Dessi, I have to give feedback on the Cle de Peau SPF 50 foundation. It’s so bad, it’s not protecting my skin from the sun, and mind you the sun in Montreal at this time is not that hot like the summer’s. It’s definitely not SPF50 so we need the true SPF under or over this foundation. At the end of the day, my skin feels very rough, and my dark spots are more pronounced. Not recommending this SPF foundation from Cle de Peau!

Oh, definitely!! I never solely rely on the SPF in the foundation and always apply a separate sunscreen underneath regardless. The amount of applied foundation is never enough to give you good protection, it’s just an add-on. Thanks for the note!! 💛💛💛💛

@desistark well I mixed it with another foundation that thickened it a bit and it works well. My skin is very beautiful and sometimes I try to put on too much foundation and my skin only likes a wee bit.
