This movie came out when I was in 6th or 7th-grade in school; I never understood why everyone in my class was obsessed with the film. I guess the location, the cast, and songs might have made it popular. But even back then, I felt this movie was crap with extreme melodramatic overtures and pathetic slogans, like, "che din ladki in".
