This gave me some good ideas, such as getting a moniter stand for my desk! I've been using a cheap desk from Walmart that my mom once owned, but the thing has sharp edges that dig into my wrists, so I'm looking for a new one that also offers more space and storage (I keep a small blanket on top of the desk to prevent it from digging into me). I wish I lived near an Ikea, but the nearest one is in the next state over, and that's the ONLY one they will let me shop from...and the delivery prices are insane, not to mention, half the stuff I might want is always out of stock. So it goes and that's alright. Since I hope to forever work from home (fingers crossed 🤞🏾!), I'd like to make a sizeable investment in the next desk I get so that I love it for years to come 😊 I also like that monitor stand though as I could place my workplace laptop and monitor on it and just get a wireless keyboard and use that instead. The space under the stand is where I could put my personal laptop. I either leave it on the dining room table, which helps to always make it look messy, or I put it in the cabinet of my living room TV stsnd, but it's a pain to drag it out from there whenever I need it. Your pink cable ties are also a great idea, definitely going to need some of those. I'm getting more and more ideas as I go down the desk makeover rabbit hole, so thank you for contributing to the process, lol! Your finished result looks so beautiful and relaxing.
