The screen I have is 27". I would probably not go any bigger than 32. but 27" seems like the sweet spot.

I was one of the people who underestimated monitor lamps and saw them as an unnecessary resource. Now, I'm seriously considering buying one. But first, I think it's even more convenient for me to buy a tilt stool like that. Do you think it will work well with my Protractor Desk from Barcelona Designs? Thank you very much for the reviews. What a interesting choices in gadgets. I am thinking about that Analog cards that look very cool. The charming of manual writing is still live, at least for some. Kind of intrigued about that stool. it maybe is that flexible, but the absence of back support is not convincing. The stand up desk is great. Humanscale Float Desk is a great alternative, too. Not necessarily. Since it lights up the area, it does give you some “indirect light”. Not enough in my opinion to be your sole webcam light.

these "desk shelf" products are the biggest scam in "tech" I have several lifelong woodworkers in my family, 2 are in ultra high end custom cabinetry, There's about $12 worth of materials and next to no actual manufacturing involved and yet they cost hundreds. The one in the video is jus a plank of wood, that's been beveled and stained, and those "modular features" those are just run of the mill wood inserts that are pennies a piece. and yet it's $200 USD I might make a video on how to make the exact same thing from home depot for under $20

I would love to see that video. A lot of people would be interested in that. The thing you are missing though is not everyone has the time, skill nor equipment to do that. If you want to build it yourself, you are more than welcome to. It is cheaper coz you are assuming the labor as opposed to hiring someone else. Think of a restaurant, they charge more for food because they are making it for you. You are paying for service and convenience. If you make it at home, then it's cheaper.. But you need to cook it yourself. Same with almost anything in life. Time is money.
