You should think about removing the kittys collar, really dangerous because cats climb and it could potentially hang him, it happened to my moms cat and my friends cat :( I love your videos 💓

If it’s a break away collar the risk is much less. My cat wore a collar as a kitten, mainly because with a bell on the collar it was easier to know where she was. She also wore it when I took her with me when I went to visit my parents. She doesn’t wear one anymore now that she’s older though. She’s an indoor-only cat plus she’s microchipped so I don’t feel like she needs a collar. If I still traveled with her, I would probably have her collar on while traveling but then just take it off once we got to the destination. Not because of the coking hazard (her’s was a break away collar that she’d managed to get out of a few times) but because she doesn’t really like the collar anymore.
