The leader Bang Chan became friends with Ryan Reynolds back in 2021 when they did a Deadpool themed performance for a competition show called Kingdom. Ryan was tweeted the performance and he then got in contact with Chan and they became good friends.

Fun facts: Stray kids have a song in the Deadpool and Wolverine soundtrack called Slash, unfortunately it didn't play in the movie 2 of the members are australian and they interviewed Ryan and Hugh in Korea, it's on the Marvel Korea channel.

I hope you are ready for the influx. Stay (the fan base of Stray Kids) LOVE new reactors of our guys especially when they catch the lyrics and appreciate their talent and sound. We tend to turn up in big numbers to show love to those who love our guys. Stray Kids are an 8 member self producing group who write, arrange and produce their own music. While a lot of Kpop has begun to contribute to their songs and producing but SKZ has done it from the beginning. The producing team called 3racha is made up of members Bang Chan (the groups leader who was sitting on the couch on the roof singing filling up my truck yeah you want that riiiiide), Changbin (had the Neal Armstrong word play you liked) and Han the first rapper. They love to play with sounds and genres of music. They love to tackle word plays and topics of goals, Fighting to be yourself, both fighting depression as well as supporting loved ones fighting depression and much more. Two members are Australian and English is their first language (Chan who moved to Australia as a baby and Felix (Deep voice long blonde hair) and they frequently put quite a bit of English in their lyrics as a result. As well as a lot of English interviews. As to Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds being in this video it has been a LONG time coming. SKZ in particular Chan and Felix are friends with the Marvel duo. It started with a show called Kingdom Legendary Wars which was a contest among 6 kpop groups where they competed. They would do things like cover each others songs in their own style and sound. Ultimately Stray Kids won even though they were a member short at the time. One of their songs was a mash up of their song God's Menu with a Blackpink song Ddudu ddudu. They titled it God's Ddudu Ddudu. Their performance was Deadpool themed and it caught Ryan's attention. They have had several interactions online liking posts of each other or mentioning the other in an interview. Both the group and Ryan are huge fans and supporters of each other. Ryan brought Hugh into the convo by claiming Chan was his favorite Aussie to which Hugh clapped back that he preferred Felix. They have a video of Chan and Felix interviewing both men where they discuss this video as well as Deadpool and Wolverine. Additionally that video let us know that they did not discuss appearing in the video with Marvel, they just wanted to be in the music video and so they were. There is also a making of video of Chk Chk Boom where you get to see the behind the scenes and interactions between Ryan and the group. Anyway, welcome to Stray Kids. I would love to see you react to more and have subscribed for just that reason. They have songs of all genres so you will find something to your taste no matter what. They have fans spanning ages from children to people in their 80's (not kidding), as well as from all different music preferences. Gods Menu is usually where I suggest people start and work both back and forth from there but honestly just watch any and listen. They guys are a lot of fun and there are all kinds of interviews and complications of them off stage if that interests you or just pick one of their videos or dance practices. Ty for reacting Stray Kids, they are pure 🔥!!! Ryan and Hugh were in this bc they're fans and friends. You're right that they did it without telling Marvel ahead of time. Stray kids did have an OST in their movie, though (Slash!), so I doubt Marvel was too upset😂. Please react to more of them!!! They are self-produced and write lyrics with tons of wordplay accross several languages. They have many different sounds/genres. I suggest watching Gods menu and then watching their kingdom performance called God’s Dududu which is a mash up of SKZs Gods menu and blackpinks Dududu. It was a Deadpool theme and Ryan ended up giving them a shoutout and became friends that way. Also funny thing is Marvel had no clue about this collab in the music video!😂 If you do react to the kingdom performance you usually have to put something over the video screen like a filter or lettering or they won’t let you upload for copyright issues.

Ryan and Hugh are huge fans of the boys and vice versa. This collaboration has been a long time in the making. Fun fact, the boys were supposed to appear in the movie but delays etc ended up causing their schedules to clash so they could no longer do it.

I know you're just getting into Stray Kids, so here's some info in case you haven't read much about them, yet. About Stray Kids (aka SKZ): Leader Bang Chan flew from Australia to Korea when he was 13 yrs old and trained at JYP for several years. While waiting to debut, he formed a rap group called 3Racha with two other trainees, Changbin and Han. They wrote / produced their own music. JYP gave Bang Chan the unusual opportunity to help develop his own group (which they did through a reality show, but Bang Chan had WAY more influence in picking his members than pretty much any other idol trainee had ever had before), and when SKZ was formed 3Racha was absorbed into that group. 3Racha still performs on occasion. Several of their songs / videos are posted on KZbin. They write / produce (and often compose/arrange) the vast majority of the music for Stray Kids. Over time the other members have also gotten involved in writing / production. ---------------------------------- Stray Kids debuted in 2018. In early videos, you'll see 9 people performing, but one left in Oct 2019. Stray Kids have been an 8-member group ever since. ---------------------------------- DanceRacha - main dancers (Hyunjin, Felix (deep-voiced guy), and Lee Know). But all 8 members dance very well. ---------------------------------- VocalRacha - main vocalists (Seungmin and I.N). Ryan Reynolds is good friends with the leader of the group, Bang Chan(Chris). Has been for a few years now. Stray Kids had a song on the movie track as well called Slash. Highly recommend you dive into these guys, they don't miss on a single track.

Lee Know (25), Hyunjin (24) and Felix (24) also known by the name of- Dance Racha subunit . All of them have solo songs composed by themselves. Seungmin (24) and I.N (23)as the Vocal Racha subunit. They have released solo cover songs. They all are skilled in dancing, they all can rapp or sing and lately all of them are getting intrested in songwriting and producing. Sorry this is going to be long. Stray kids (Skz) are an 8 member kpop group, they have a huge discography (they usually do two albums per year and debuted in 2018) all members can sing rap and dance well. The group is mainly self produced, three members are known to produce and write the music and lyrics, they can go really deep with their lyrics and aren’t scared to be real and honest about experiences they’ve had in their life with the lyrics. This unit was together since 2017 and have many pre-debut songs together, and are known as 3Racha, the members in this are Bang Chan 3:19, who is the oldest and the leader of the group, Changbin 2:32, who is the main rapper in the group and Han 1:40, who’s also mainly a rapper but often showcases his beautiful vocal. There are two other subunits, which are DanceRacha, that are mainly known as dancers which are Lee Know 4:28, Hyunjin 4:19, and Felix 5:09. The other subunit is VocalRacha and mainly known for their vocals, these are also the two youngest members Seungmin 3:14 and I.N 3:08 (Maknae). This having Ryan and Hugh has been a long time coming, during Kingdom (survival show skz participated in in 2021) they did a deadpool themed performance that caught Ryan’s attention and they’ve interacted many times over the internet with Ryan and Hugh, Bang Chan also did an interview with Ryan for free man, so when deadpool 3 was announced Stay (fans) we’re so excited at the thought that skz could be on the soundtrack, so when it was announced that they had a song (Slash) on the soundtrack we were already excited and then they released a teaser for this song and it had Ryan in the tv at 1:33, so we were very excited and I doubt many of us expected Hugh to also be in it.

RE: Chk Chk Boom Because of the appearance of Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds in the Chk Chk Boom music video, some people think that song was in the Deadpool movie. Stray Kids have actually been friends with RR and HJ for a few years. But other than them appearing in the M/V, the song Chk Chk Boom is not related to the Deadpool movie at all. The song Stray Kids (actually, 3Racha - the three members who do the vast majority of the writing and production of the music for Stray Kids) DID write for the official Deadpool and Wolverine soundtrack is called SLASH.
