Lots of room for improvement but good try and keep it up; keep trying to learn from other creators. I'd suggest watching some of Evan Royalty's content for ideas. Also remember to "show and don't tell" regarding dialogue, rather than a character telling us their back story, think about how that can be shown rather than told.
@TheMightyCookieShow2 жыл бұрын
If you had somehow been able to make this but in live action, dude, you'd have 10s of millions of views. For some reason, and I do animation myself, but it seems you surrender about half of your potential audience with animation over live action. That being said, yes, very well done and very cinematic. Great job.

Well edited but several holes in the story itself. Also, several of the scripted lines were not quite right given the situation. The voice acting needed to be refined. Some lines were spoken calmly and then the very next line would be over the top, end of the world, dramatic. Then, everything went back to calm detachment. The flow and immersion were broken because of this. Overall, editing was beautiful, soundtrack was on point, voice acting was subpar and the story was pretty meh for the lack of information given to the audience. I wouldn't call this a masterpiece. But, I definitely believe the production team overall is capable of one day producing a true masterpiece.
@charlesdoeseverything97162 жыл бұрын
I dare say that this is the peak of Arma 3 machinima. No other Arma 3 machinima film I've seen, from any other machinima KZbinr big or small, has gotten close to this. Absolute masterpiece. Also, I love how you used the High-Definition film grain for this video. It's subtle, but it makes it feel like it was captured on real 16-30mm film. Combine that with the outstanding contrast color grading used. This is Greg Fraiser-level stuff man.

So a sacrifice had to be done to summon that monstrosity but I doubt it mattered one bit who died. Just the act of killing cultists completed the ritual. This was a no win scenario.

Not bad. The firefight felt kind of slow though, and the soldier's behavior also needs improvement. I would recommend watching Generation Kill, American Sniper, Acts of Valor, and The Outpost to get a better feel for how soldiers interact with each other, so you can incorporate some of that into your work. Also, Generation Kill is simply funny as hell with it's humor, as well as accurately representing what happened in Operation Iraqi Freedom. The rest of the cinematics were good though, just need more improvement for the firefights and military conduct.

Thanks for the constructive criticism man! I will definitely look into that for future projects. I just make these films as a hobby, due to my extremely tight budget, but I do really appreciate everyone's thoughts on how to improve the quality of my animations. Thanks for tuning in!
