I would definitely be dropping that lead fella, the one you lost at the net defo used the lead to throw the hook, good result never the less 👍l no you like your braid but mono is a lot more forgiving and i think personality mono will bank more fish

Cheers Paul. You are right - all good points mate. If the weed on the other lake is bad when I get back there then the clip will be set that way and I have my other spools ready with mono. On this lake though I do not think I could afford all the extra leads!

Cheers Gary. On that lake hook pulls are an accepted thing for all. Whether its the shallowness of the water with ferocious takes and fish not being able to rise in the water much, or its something else, no-one knows. Braid no doubt plays a part for me in losing a few. Mono and dropping the lead would be the sensible thing to do. I do like braid for the bigger chucks though. I thankfully had not been losing hardly any fish over on the other lake where it would matter more to me, but I will switch lines if it becomes a problem there. Tight lines fella.

You're using heli safe why don't you drop the lead I think if you drop the lead you would have landed at first fish great video well done
