Cuz most of the job is on computer. He has very great skill on drumming, but for the notes and the reverb you can't do this on folk guitar, even in electro-acoustic. Just the part when he plays notes without strumming, can show you the main job is made computer to hear clearly this part...

I spent most of my life in California and in Mexican communities is many “mariachi” players: they play on the streets, mostly in Mexican bars for man, couple of lovers etc is specific their music/whatever you want them they play for you/.
