I worked as an auxiliary nurse on a palliative care unit and I cared for a couple of individuals who had diabetes who behaved the same way as chins and the damage to the body is extreme and it impacts every major organ and is one of the most painful and nasty ways to hasten the end of your life, I have never nursed such ravaged bodies all caused by abusing their bodies with the wrong type of food, the worst patient had leg ulcers that were so necrotic that they were treated with maggots that would eat the dead flesh and the smell is something I will never forget. It can be the most painful long drawn out demise until they are nothing more than a pair of eyes in a body that has no function whatsoever. I hope she either wakes up and changes or is lucky enough to go quickly via a major event. She has no idea what she is doing to herself. It isn’t just exaggeration when people say she is killing herself with food. I wouldn’t wish that kind of suffering on anyone, she will need full time nursing care if she carries on this way. (Source three years on palliative care unit and ten years caring for the elderly at the end of life)

I had a friend who was very big. She also got the betus! She then lost 1 foot, then the other. Now she rests with GOD. It was a painfully sad way to go. Watching Chantal is like reliving that time. The sores/herpes is the body breaking down, when your immune system is weak .NOT GOOD 😮

She will cost the Canadian healthcare system thousands of dollars and it will take a specialised healthcare plan that will need at least three healthcare assistants to provide general physical care combined with a specialist diabetic doctor and nurse practitioner to oversee all the different aspects of care that she will need as she will not be able to do anything for herself and no doubt she will need inpatient care in a nursing facility, and to think all she has to do is take her health seriously and stick to a diabetic diet plan that could help halt the progression of the inevitable deterioration. It makes me so angry and sad to think that this is preventable. Sorry for my long rant but she’s declining before our eyes here on KZbin and she’s proud of her plaque that awards her willingly damaging her health and ensuring that she hastens her death

Her face is that way as she is retaining water due to, too much sodium, which is not good for her kidneys as well as high blood pressure causing her face to turn that color. She really needs to control her eating as losing weight with having diabetes is a red flag, she really needs to go into a treatment center for her eating and get help with her weight loss, she is not concerned about her life to make a change, despite all the close calls and trips to the E.R. She has had, also swelling of the face, hands, feet and legs is a sign of congestive heart failure.
