It really is too bad that Nicolette's character had to be written off because the actress' problem with Marc Cherry. Even tho Eddie wasn't really close to the other housewives, in real life Nicolette was really having some nice moments with the other actresses.

the reason Edie (Nicolette) was killed off, was because Marc Cherry (the creator) once slapped her on set, she reported it to the company/higher ups and nothing happened and they killed her off

@@aliryan673 they were cool and friends the first 4 seasons, but starting from season 5, there was tension between Teri and the other actresses, I don't know what have happened but there are rumors like Teri was seen by many as the sore main character in an ensemble cast and the other actresses seem to hated that and began to have a distance from Teri, or because Teri and her character Susan are 2 different people and off camera she's anything but Susan and a complete nightmare to others

Teri has a reputation of being a diva on set and is a nightmare to work with. There're also rumors that Susan was supposed to died in season 5 instead of Eddie.

This is a problem to most of us, the TV viewers... since all of them were friends in the series, we expect them to be best friends also in real life. when they come to the set, they work professionally as actresses. but beyond camera and spotlights, everything can be different. eva longoria once told in her interview that Teri Hatcher was a different personality. she did not hang out with the girls because she was just not a party goers or a very extrovert one (unlike the character Susan Mayer she played). unlike the others. so, it was so normal if she was not too close to other women of wisteria lane. and they did not see that as problem. it was the media that made it seem to be a big problem.

This is still my favourite TV show of all time. Slightly overpassing my beloved Melrose Place. And Ms Marcia Cross was the star of both shows. She is a truly remarkable actress .
