I feel that Despia is criminally underresearched. As an archetype I don't feel it needs to be where it needs to be, but the fact you can make an amalgamation of other engines and just throw it in is freaking awesome. Add Guardian Chimera (another hodgepodge) and it just fits. Freaking bring on any additional support, I love this archetype and will continue playing it.

100% agree - my frustration with every list I've seen being "masquerade pass" or "just invoked dogmatika shaddoll" is what pushed me to start sharing my own findings, and I can't wait for us to get guardian chimera here!

This is a really nice video. I'm definitely going to try out your ideas on the deck. I'm currently playing a Shaddoll variant, but the D-Hero engine looks really strong in this, plus the consistency it gives to the deck is impressive. I might need to buy DPE, after all...

What is your opinion on the Invoked engine, I like to end on Mechaba/ Masquerade and a Caligula since Masquerade is a continuous effect that dodges Caligula. Plus invoked baits out the negates of your opponents.

Ultra poly would also be an option over predaplant or alongside it since you can bring back the material to the board from grave to reuse again on another fusion

I feel like you should run artifact scythe and the link2. Both are fairy’s which can be brought back by the first darklord fusion, and the artifacts combo very nicely with DPE.

How could you go borreload when it brings Albaz face down unless you special instead of normal and flip summon Albaz after it comes back

would you also probably run the nemesis as a sub engine as well to continue looping the Malicious? just Flag and Protos. I've always liked that really small engine and don't summon it first turn unless I know what my opponent is playing ( due to it being locals), and save it for a recovery play next turn. over maybe the frightfur engine. I know that gives it more gas but can't go wrong with a safety/ grindier engine.

If you use apollousa to negate and it goes to 800. Then you use quaritis to make 0. Does apo return to 2400?
