Context: In Hinduism and associated religions, there is an endless cycle of Birth-Death. To be born in this world means one will have sorrows. To break this cycle, one has to cross the ocean from this side (Life-Death) to the other side (unending life of bliss and no more deaths). People who understand cinema and following it religiously over the years should reflect on themselves and stop proving the point that South Indian movies has been given undue precedence over hindi movies. If today you would play movies like BHAAG MILKHA BHAAG, alongside RRR or KGF for that matter ,the former will excel in every cinematic dimensions. Very true, the problem is as long as Rony Screwala was heading Viacom he ensured that Hindi film scripts were path breaking. After he left the Industry KJO and his chamchas started cooking all substandard stuff(for the sake of star kids -as they dont have hunger and other aspects). The death of SSR and pandemic gave access to what meant quality stuff on OTT. So from there onwarfs people aren'y anymore ready to accept mediocrity and substa dard work anymore. Jaideep Ahlawat was paid INR 20Cr for season 2. Just look at Mirzapur and Family man, can we expect suxh quality of work anymore from so called bollywood? Nope. Thats where the other regional Industries have got the edge as they have been working really hard to give quality stuff for a while(be it Rajamouli, Sukumar, Rishab shetty, so on amd so forth).
