After their cancellation by the Travel Channel, the Destination Fear cast has already moved on. They chatted with Jason about Project Fear and what that means for their future.

I’m definitely coming to the realization of how loyal this fan base is. I really thought I was one of a handful of people who is obsessed with this show. I have never been into paranormal shows. I have never believed that they were real. Then I found Trail to Terror from a podcast. Super fan ever since. Can’t wait for the first episode! I love these guys!

Absolutely a blessing in disguise! It’s almost like they say, “The best way to win American Idol is not to win America Idol”. They’ve gotten the public exposure and loyal fan base, but with all the creative control that wouldn’t have been there had they stayed with Travel Channel. I think they’re brilliant for doing this! They’re the same ages as my kiddos, so I can only just imagine how Mrs Polly must be feeling right about now! I wasn't able to donate, but I am so glad they reached their goal on KS! I love the paranormal and I can't wait to see PF on YT! They inspired me to keep pushing myself and find ways to reach a new fan base for my books as all my proceeds go to my parents funeral fund. Oh my gosh I'm so happy 😊. I love all of them. They seem to have such regard & empathy for each other & others dead or alive- instead of being aggressive & bullies like GAC is. Was very happy to see them on (2) episodes of GHOST HUNTERS everyone seemed to really get along. And it was probably fun for the guys to work w/ a real honest & professional group. Congrats and good luck guys! I really enjoy your show and I'm happy you're not letting this get you down and you're still going. Huge shout out to Nick Groff as well for getting involved with these younger paranormal investigators. A lot of people would turn their head from helping "competition," but Nick is embracing everyone and can share his knowledge and experience. Such a shame to hear such horrible things come out about the other show. Hopefully everyone can settle their differences, grow and learn together and move on from it all.

Honestly Project Fear truly deserves this. Their show on discovery has been absolutely amazing, and it’s unfortunate that someone had to ruin it, but this just goes to show how loyal we are as fan (even if you couldn’t contribute) subscribing to their KZbin channel and blasting it out on Social Media is helpful! I was on their live when they hit their goal.. and the sheer excitement from everyone was soo nice to see… filming starts in the next couple of weeks and we won’t need to wait almost a full year for more seasons.

Great coverage on these guys! I love this crew! They are very nice, funny and likeable people! People like their personalities and group dynamics as much as their investigations. They don't need Discovery Channel anymore! I think a lot of fans of paranormal show in general are migrating to KZbin for paranormal entertainment. More freedom! Discovery / travel Channel lost a fantastic show. Who ever allowed that canceled a fantastic fan base that will now be watching you tube. Some of there shows may lose some viewers from things happening. But im all for project fear. Destination fear was my favor because for the cast members. Excellent at what they do. And the closeness that they have and mean to each otber is awesome. That meant a lot on tbat show. Real REAL feelings. Can't make that up on a script. And yhe respect they showed the places and spirits there. Awesome. They did go in screaming, demanding like some shows do . I hate that and will NOT watch that. Any show that someone goes in very cocky and focuses on themselves isnt worth watching. Im proud of Designation fear. I have probably watch that whole series at least 6 times. Im glad they are moving on. Cant wait for project fear. Congratulations guys!!!! You are the best!!!!!!
