I feel at peace and 1 with the rocks, trees, water, grass, mushrooms, everything! I just got back home yesterday. It’s bitter sweet cause my kiddos are so very special and I miss them so much while gone. I dream of being able to move and raise my family in a place so special and pure. Take care!

There are some wickedly interesting communities in the North. We experienced some of them on our recent trip through BC Yukon and Alaska. Like the young lady said, people in these communities are there for different reasons than the majority of people. We found that same thing when talking to people in these places. Certainly not for everyone, but the people that live in these places are definitely interesting, and their characters make the place interesting Looking forward to seeing more of your travels

This episode of Destination Adventure takes viewers on an unforgettable journey through the stunning landscapes of Atlin, BC. Hosted by the ever-charismatic Dustin Porter, this episode is a masterclass in adventure filmmaking and local storytelling in my opinion. From the very beginning, Dustin’s passion for exploration and storytelling shines through. The episode beautifully captures the essence of Atlin, showcasing its breathtaking scenery, rich history, and vibrant community. The intimate close-up cinematography brings the viewer right into the heart of the adventure. What sets this episode apart for us is its ability to balance adventure with education. Dustin’s genuine curiosity and respect for the places he visits are evident, making the viewer feel like a part of the journey. The episode is not just about exploring new places but also about understanding and appreciating the stories that make them unique. Dustin, you have once again delivered an exceptional piece of content that is both entertaining and enlightening. This episode is a testament to the power of storytelling and the beauty of exploration. Atlin has been on our radar for the longest time and you just ignited the fire to make this trip happen sooner than later. Rest assured, first stop will be the cafe and chance to speak with Amelie in person and congratulate her on the success of Kershaws Cafe! Cheers all the way and safe travels to both of you.

Outstanding Dustin. The way you win the locals trust in a way that allows you to capture their (un-interrupted) stories and the associated in-depth history of the places where they live, in very honest conversations from the heart....is just brilliant. Not to mention the super high quality of your productions, they should be shown to the world on television. Was lucky enough to get to Canada and Alaska earlier this year as a tourist, and your videos and stories just highlight how little we got to see and hear about your stunning part of the world. Awesome episode......Atlin is one of the coolest places I have ever visited. Spent a year cruising the Yukon and went to Atlin a few times. It's one of those places you can't get enough of. Your episode brings back many memories from my travels in 2017-18. I forget the name of the lady that owned the yellow and red aircraft(Citabria) on floats at the beginning and she took a pic of me standing on one of the floats. Another memory I have was of an old jewellery store with a huge watch mounted on a pole out front. There was also a bakery that made some of the most yummiest goodies I've ever eaten. I hope on your way back you can do a story on the history of Carcross YT, also a very interesting place with tons of history. Thanks Dustin, I always look forward to Saturday morning coffee while watching Destination Adventure. Looking forward to next Sundays episode. Cheers and have a safe journey!
