Destinazione Rio 2016: Made in Italy - Lacrime e oro, la lotta di Frank Chamizo

Le strade che portano alle Olimpiadi di Rio partono dalle palestre, piscine, spiagge, ring di tutta Italia. Rep Tv racconta le giornate degli atleti azzurri che andranno ai Giochi, la loro vita nei centri di eccellenza dove nascono i campioni. La prima storia è quella del lottatore Frank Chamizo, che comincia a Matanzas, Cuba, e arriva a Ostia per una “seconda vita” tutta italiana. E vestito di azzurro Frank ha conquistato l'oro ai Mondiali e agli Europei: a 23 anni ha già vinto tutto. O quasi: la scorsa Olimpiade, quella di Londra, l’ha vista in lacrime sul divano, dopo una squalifica.

Chamizo. Back in the days when I was a greco-roman wrestler in Matanzas, Cuba; there was a free-style wrestler named Chamizo. He was very talented and made it to be part of Cuban Wrestling Selection. He looked very much like you. So I am assuming he is your father, being that we are in our forties now. There is not way that the Chamizo I trained with in Matanzas it is you. The Chamizo I trained with must be about 40 or 50 years old.

I know a couple of good coaches/wrestlers from Matanzas, they now reside in different countries.. Fidel Albelo is one of them, I think he's living in Miami these days.

I'm glad there is more and more African immigration to Europe. It helps to break down these "white" nations and make them part of humanity. What I don't appreciate is rich countries poaching professionals from the poorer countries and then profiting from that. Cuba has a better wrestling program than rich Italy, but because of illegal American economic blockade life is very hard do people leave.

у него наверное и спаринг партнёров нет нормальных на тринке.Да и сборов хороших нету у них наверное в Италии,он похож на одинокого волка.Не думаю что он на кубу ездит на сборы,там этого не прощают с переходом за другую страну.
