After waiting five days for the mail, it finally arrived. The Destiny 2 Ace of Spades hand cannon replica that was made by Nerf for Bungie's 10-year anniversary of Destiny. I am absolutely excited to unbox this and see what it's like.

I'm going to preface this by saying I'm not someone that knows a lot about irl guns. I remember the arms and armaments collectors edition book. Which basically went over standard issue Guardian weapons. The rounds that hand cannons fire are ridiculous, so it's not entirely surprising. You're right to emphasise *cannon* lol. And the same can be said with every other weapon in the booklet. Heavy machine guns effectively fire small tank rounds when you compare it to modern day weapons. It's crazy.

Hey man! Artist from the whole controversy here, i can shed some light on it now that the whole situation has been resolved! The fault was on Hasbro's design team's side, their designer did steal my work, and both Hasbro and Bungie sided with me from the beginning and apologized. I am getting both credit and compensation for my artwork, which i painted 9 years ago a bit after D1's launch. Yes, ace of spades itself is bungie's property but that doesn't automatically make all fanart inherently theirs; my original work is still mine. In cases like these the best outcome is resolving things amicably, which they did! Glad you like the design (:

Yeah I was kind of thinking Hasbro was at fault because I think Bungie learned their lesson of using other people's artwork without their permission. It's nice that everything got solved . Now big question did they as an apology give you a replica of the Ace of Spade?

They were supposed to be making Skywatch more enemy dense for the challenge with today's reset I believe. Also you can keep loading Skywatch landing zone and go to the ogre room off the side. There's videos showing this if you don't know. Or just farm picnic events at Skywatch. Optimally do all of this. I tried loading Grasp sadly those engrams don't count lol the purple engrams if you get them to drop do but not the burden engrams

Nice. I bought 2. 1 to keep stock and the other for potential mods/ paint. Also fan art is using bungie IP so the whole controversy is pointless because its their rights in the first place, they don't need to ask for permission or credit anyone, although it would be nice to. Has always been like this, literally every piece of fan art from any game technically infringes on intellectual property, but its up to the owner of the IP to pursue infringements, ignore them or allow it.

You can't say that Bungie stole their own art. Bungie designed the gun first.

Actually, no the artist commented on this video and gave the full story an employee at Nerf stole the person's art and coined it as their own and Bungie apologized. Bungie yelled at Nerf. The guy who stole the art probably got seriously reprimanded or lost their job and the artist is getting paid. Also, they are getting a free Nerf guns as an extra apology and yes Bungie designed the gun but they didn't design the skin.

So a artist made the art years ago when D1 was only a thing, Flash forward to now some person at Nerf had no creativity or imagination so what they did was they scoured the internet and found an art drawing of the nerf ace from an obscure artist that was commissioned to darw it years ago and the Nerf employee plagiarized the work of art expecting that the artist in question would not remember or notice that this happened and turns out that the artist did find out and contacted Bungie and I already explained the whole thing that happened afterward.

you can mod them to replace the flywheels and power supply with stronger ones. (People mostly use LiPo batteries) With spring ones you can get a similar result from replacing the spring with a stronger one.

Furgotti is right. Open purchasing wont begin until the 24th. In order to be able to ourchase the gun during the preorder phase, you must first complete the Legend seal. The purchase button literally wont appear until your Bungie account has registered the completed seal.

It's entirely designed around being a monster in PvP, which it is. It's used in PvP. It's a really solid and reliable PvP weapon. It's not an *awful* primary ammo PvE option, as in, you aren't punishing yourself by using it. It's just that there are exotic primaries that do more than it or the same job but better or more. It's also not too dissimilar to a slightly weaker legendary hand cannon with kill clip and firefly. Which all makes it a hard sell in PvE.
