Problem with buffing other specials is that it wont really change anything, as it will follow the same loop it has been doing that we had "Buff underused special weapon -> New meta too stronk -> Nerf special weapon -> Repeat"..

They aren’t stupid they did the bare minimum the last 2 seasons( you already bought it so who cares) all of the resources will have been focused on the the final season because they need to build the hype so you buy the dlc. The dlc will probably be good enough but full of promises about the “future” changes just around the corner and riding the upswing in player sentiment they will drop marathon at roughly the same time. But I predict it will all come crashing down soon after as people realise just how little content they are getting and I’m almost certain that after marathon ships there will be more layoffs.

Crafting was purely removed because bungie saw the opportunity to artificially increase the grind after KZbinrs such as datto made it out as if that’s what the entire community wants, and of course bungie only listens to a very select few of people in the community (they actually somehow see them as the voice of the entire community) so then they just get garbage take after garbage take and you’re left with a terrible product that purely only appeals to any wanna be try hard who doesn’t respect his time or it’s just simply sunken cost fallacy

@@dave7474 it’s because I hate the fact you could run a raid hundreds of times and still not get the roll you wanted was BS. Crafting is a mercy rule on the roll you want. I also hate raiding. It stresses me out to the point of getting heartburn and straight up having mental breakdowns. It isn’t good for me. The reason I believe crafting should be a thing for seasonal content is because seasonal content straight up isn’t fun in the first place and the season eventually goes away. It’s nice to just decide to craft them if you ever need them instead of saving them, Imo. The solution to crafting is to make adepts better. And to remove enhanced perks. Enhanced perks were a mistake to begin with. They need to reward endgame content like master raids and such with something better than their crafted versions. Current adepts aren’t cutting it.

I feel like crafting for seasonal weapons was perfect, i didnt have to play the seasonal activities to a point of exhaustion but still played it more than i did in the two episodes.I already got comparable weapons for every type and i am not bothering running 40 onslaughts or prison of elders for a either slightly better weapon or for a worse weapon that might be good if they change the sandbox. At the end with crafting it took me like 20/30 runs across the 12 weeks a season usually had. I always got all the seasonal guns with any rollss even if they arent good i would still be able to use it if it became good without using up like 20 vault space per season solely on seasonal weapon rolls

@ Less ammo almost makes it the same as a grenade launcher. Less ammo also complicates some of the best functions of the sidearms since the mags are around 8-12 rounds. You’d have to reload after each shot to have a chance of using the perks. A GL would probably be better at this point.

It’s very strange tbh datto makes a video about how he doesn’t like the one bad luck system in the game because he’s already got everything and hates respecting player time, then a week or so later it’s announced there’s no crafting. Seems like bungie wanted to do this all along to artificially increase the grind and then you have all the videos saying the community shouldn’t be mad because apparently we’re the ones who asked for it. The Hive have always been my favorite foes in Destiny, visually and lore-wise so as soon as they announced the 3 Episodes I was already hyped for the 3rd chapter. I can't wait to see what they got in store for us, I sure have real high expectations. Idk if Bungie gonna bring back episodic / seasonal story time gating on a weekly basis per act because the episodic /seasonal story is short without the time gating. Bungie is losing players retention because they drop the stories of episode 2 revenant acts without time gating and they didn`t put the effort to make the stories of act 1 and 2 last longer than 25 minutes after completing all the quest steps and the 1 story mission. The others factors of lost of players retention for Destiny 2 in my opinion are better engaging games release this year , bugs that break the game since episode 2 release and uninteresting episodic activities that can`t keep players engaged from more than 1 to 2 hours at a time.

Bungie decided to launch all the story for each “Act” of an episode at once, so all (however many missions - haven’t logged on to actually play in ages) missions are playable on launch basically. instead of the weekly drip-feed of content :p

They miss the money every single time. It’s actually impressive. All these game breaking bugs, lawsuits, and stale events, and their response is to nerf one of the games best pve weapons. Ya destiny is letting us know they are trying to completely destroy this game so they can focus on new projects

I don't think the new tier of weapons is just shiny versions. They said they will be "worth inspecting" and a special border and shader personally won't make me use or even grind for a weapon I don't want to. The seasonal weapons recently have just been so boring to play with, like they're all the same weapon. They should invent more frames!

Episode 1 and 2 has so many bugs I can only imagine what's in store in 3! I think breaking the whole game into pieces (Episodes) could be the reason but I'm not a dev/programmer 🤷‍♂️
