Real quick Chibi, the difference between a prime and a base frame or weapon is just some base stats. I believe Grendel's is a bit more health and a bit more armor. Basically the base version can be just as effective as the prime.

Yeah, primes aren't much of an upgrade, barring a couple rare exceptions that have the occasional nicer-than-usual stat bonus that could make a little difference in some specific builds. Getting primes is mostly just for *_the bling._*

Hehe. Grendel. He started as a joke, the fat-frame. Then they gave him mechanics that replicate both Sonic the Hedgehog and Kirby, gave him a halloween theme, released him on halloween and made him out to be mysterious and spooky and horror-themed, and he became a fan-favorite. He's just goofy fun.

Chibi, during endless missions like survival if you don't extract with your squad you'll stay in the mission! When a squad member moves to extraction a one-minute timer begins. At the end of the timer all players at extraction will leave and anybody not at extraction will stay. If you want to leave with your squad make sure to get to and stay on extraction!

Glad your having fun! Warframe is so much fun. Just think of all the frames you have yet to try out - these are some talented devs that design these. They create stuff that would make the execs at Bungie lose their shite. Not capping on Bungie (got about 500 hours in D2 and enjoyed it), but the gameplay feels pretty limited after the Warframe experience (too shooty in D2 for my taste; sometime I just want to play a mage, or a melee char).

I recommend getting CALIBAN! Caliban basically has infinite energy, because of the first ability, and the ability makes you really fast. the second ability is like rhino-s 4th ability, that stomps the ground making everyone float, but for caliban it's like half the energy spent for it. the 3rd ability can summon 3 types of summons, I recomment ocu something. And the ability gives you overguard every time, so you will have like 1500+ shield the whole game. the 4th ability, makes you shoot lasers out of your hand. with ability strength build the warframe is really op. survival, interception, capture, EVERYTHING is easy. and I recommend the ocu summon, bc if you use the 4th ability.... THE SUMMONS WILL DO IT TOO. you will see laser beams everywhere on your screen. forgot to say, but CALIBAN's abilities give enemies a DEBUFF, that makes status do more DMG. if you have a weapon with like 40% status or higher, it will almost double the dmg

Little word to the wise from a returning player. The difference between a prime and a reg frame is a simple stat increase across all aspects. That and the gold. The bundles are expensive. You can look in the market but depending on what youre looking for it could be hard or easy but expensive. Just check Prime Resurgence and youll see what i mean. 2 regal aya is like 30 bucks unless you have something of equal value to trade. Pick and choose your primes wisely. Bc they are again very expensive. I have seven i got from different sources. All costing platinum. Also look into the factions at relays guys they got some nice perks and gear.

Grendal is really fun to use, but he can be a pain to get if you dont buy him outright. Because you need to complete the entire star chart, buy the component beacons so that you can do 3 missions (defense, survival, and excavation) with modding restrictions, and afyer all that craft all the components when done which will require gathering.
