It's been a long ten years for Bungie's Destiny series, starting with the threat of the Darkness and the player's mission to help the Traveller. Throughout all the twists, turns and seasonal grinding, players finally near Destiny 2's The Final Shape, the finale to the saga.
Launching June 4th for Xbox, PlayStation and PC, it sees Guardians venturing into the Pale Heart of the Traveller to defeat its nemesis, The Witness, and prevent the Final Shape's completion. That means venturing through surreal environments reminiscent of familiar locales, fighting off new enemy types and discovering new subclasses and weapons to even the odds.

I tried it on a new character with the mindset of not knowing anything prior and it is mess. Imagine being given a book to read and after the first chapter, some dude walks up to you and tears chapters 2-4 and then chapter 7 and 8 but don't worry, you still have 5,6,9,10 to enjoy.

It's pretty much hell for new player it's just a mess of information that's not helpful for a new player then you get bombarded with all the expansions and eververse ads then random quests for exotics but leaves out simple things like introducing you to the new heavy weapon you pick up for the first time and new players are also locked out of any expansion activities witch leaves them with some strikes gambit and crucible I suppose its lucky they made 3 expansions and the last 4 seasonal content free

Im having fun, the last location is all locations, fighting against all enemies using all the powers aka prismatic while meeting with all the allies, one phrase from the campaign is that the traveler is everything, in this case that is correct

It's already on sale if you look closely. Keep an eye on the many "keys" type sites. At various points before and after release, they will have some level of deal for you. However, Bungie will not lower their own proce for years.

@@jasontaylor6412no it’s free, in the twid after they announced all of its free, they said beyond light and others will be free for all players and shadow keep and the others will have optional $10-20 bundles to access the raid and other things that aren’t weapons. Campaigns will be free as will subclasses

@@tomasbrudal3878I still enjoy destiny but it is not in the best place for me at all. Trials of Osiris has been ruined. There is really no incentive for me to raid consistently and do the hard mode. Those where the things that drew me in. I need great gear to do them but without them being Important I’ve lost to need to grind all of the other game content. Still love the game though.

I would not recommend any new players to buy the Final Shape. The story is all but gone, some of the best items have been removed, also Vanguard strikes, Gambit and the Crucible are all being removed. Plus the Guardian Ranks can be used to lock you out of group activities like Raids.

Dont take this guys opinion seriously clearly not played the game as he butchers even the most common names you come up with in the story. With The Final Shape releasing we get a brand new subclass called Prismatic, Prismatic will allow you to merge subclasses together so the Guardian becomes a master of Dark and Light energy. You get a new state called transcendence which Merges abilities together for an extremely powerful grenade all while feeling like a second super. We’re also getting new Exotic class items and they are game breaking in a good way. TFS is looking to be the best Destiny expansion yet
