I like how simple this track is. It’s basically telling you “Go on! Get in there and face this threat!” In music form. As in universe, everything is on the line and on borrowed time, the best time is now. Only too bad we have to wait a day to do so.

What brings me back to Destiny is the soundtrack, every time. The vast emotions you can feel from it, the memories of the thousands of hours put into the franchise and the investment of being a cogwheel in this the journey shines through this theme. Tomorrow is going to be a war against the witness and hopefully everyone who has been playing for a long time like me jumps in and finishes this story as it is deserved to do so. For Lance, as he believed in this game heavily.

My absolute favorite "motif" is that very quiet single opera note that plays at the beginning and at 1:05. It played when the Traveler killed Ghaul and when it began to rise at the end of season of the seraph. I guess it's kind of like the traveler action theme.

While Salvatori is a very skilled composer and I'm not trying to diminish his work, there are consistently 4 or more composers listed on the Soundtracks, you can see their names right there in the cover art for every DLC. Most tracks are seemingly either made in collaboration with these other composers or entirely made by other composers, they deserve their recognition too.

This once again ist just a flat out masterpiece. The heroic melodies are just dimmed over and over by a strange and overwhelming force. What surprised me most is the sound at 1:07. It's literally the same from the cinematic where Ghaul gets atomized by the Traveller. It IS the Traveller. One single voice of hope in this whole cacophony of pure darkness. It's so good

There's the WQ/Disciple motif but more soft, less aggressive but more looming. Really fits the witness and TFS by extension as someone who doesn't fight firsthand but emanates the most power of any disciple.

@@ICr4zyI Pete Parsons and other members of the board could have taken pay cuts instead, or earlier they could have listened to their employees when they were told about the issues with community sentiment and how they couldn't afford to throw away any more goodwill. This was avoidable, was down to poor management, and the scattershot nature of the firings just shows that they didn't really care who got fired so long as enough people did. No matter how you slice it, it's STILL a slap in the face to Salvatori, who'd been with Bungie since Myth.
