I love how every DPS phase is the Guardians' theme, it's like both Light and Dark are competition to be heard as music, a duel or duet. When it's our turn to deal damage, the Light shines brightest.

Thats a good interpretation! This coolest thing about this theme is the music that plays when we *start* to fight Rhulk is a remix of "Rise" from Destiny 1. And the *actual* DPS theme is a remix off "Guardian". *Rise Guardian* which fits thematically as Rhulk says we will drown in his pyramid but we (and quite literally with the stairs haha) Rise up to combat him. Really cool detail and shows why this is (in my opinion) the *Greatest Destiny Boss Ever.*

Taniks' boss theme "Look Within" is also the theme for Guardians using Darkness, and it also appears in Nezarec's DPS phase which is really cool. The two raid bosses in expansions that introduce Darkness classes reflect our mastery of Darkness too!

@@BlackLionRampant the beyond light theme plays almost as much in root as in dsc. Beyond light is the best theme.

I love the addition of Savathûn’s song after dps/ while he’s dying Considering the rivalry Rhulk and Savathûn had in the lore, her theme playing as he dies makes it seem like this is her final revenge against him, leading us to his pyramid to kill him for her, because she knows she couldn’t do it herself.

It’s actually the Rise theme 1:36 from D2 and then Guardian 3:16 from D1. It’s supposed to signify “Rise Guardian” because we’re fighting the darkness and rising from the deep, not drowning in it

My guy, not everyone has the gigashitter 420 to get that extra 0.7549 damage on the one who never skips leg day. Ima stuck to my gally, reeds regret and a fusion rifle as that seems to work in my favour as well as the others.
