The LFG in the app or on the website is the way to go for all of us friendless bastards, however, LFG is hell, because everyone is super serious, and nobody wants to or has the patience to deal with people who need to have stuff explained, or if the group wipes more than 3 times, you can guarantee someone if not more than 1 person, will inevitably just leave without saying anything. I've done many different things with LFG, and it's almost always the same deal. On the rare occasion you get the relaxed, chill dude who has done it 100 times and is genuinely fun to talk to.

For less coordinated teams for oracles we found it easier to have 3 on left 3 on right. As the oracles spawn have everyone stand next to an oracle in order from 1-6. Then each person only has to remember what number they are in order and you don’t have to think about “l3, l1, r3, mid, etc”. For round seven obviously after your team kills six in order the last one remaining is last.

Raids are annoying and I can’t imagine people actually grinding 50 clears for the raid weapons. I’ve played since launch and never earned a single raid weapon, but I have a dozen or so clears. Just not fun unless you have other no life friends who are up to level and have the insane time investment to raid.

An easy strat for oracles: have everyone have designated oracles. Since there are 7, one person will need to have 2. Make sure everyone stays near the oracle to make sure they dont miss it. When you see your oracle pop up, you say the number in the sequence. Example: the oracles start the sequence, the first one spawns and the person who is responsible for it calls out 1. Then the second oracle, the next person says 2... the reason why you shouldnt jave to call out the names is that its useless. No one is going to worry about your oracle, except for you, so the only piece of info you have to give is when you saw yours so that the next person knows when their oracle will have to die and in what order. Of everyone does this, it will be and easy clear. This is what i used in day 1 and it was a literal joke of an encounter. So basically the chat is not necessary at all on pc.

But watching this video, I also just thought to myself "why don't we just assign oracle spawns to people, and they call out whenever theirs comes up, that removes a lot of the unneccessary information you'd otherwise have to process first". But hey, whatever works, as long as people can find a good strategy for themselves and get through the encounters

For the Atheon fight there are dedicated spawn points for the oracles. It's 3 up by the spawn gate and 3 back by the portals. It just seems really chaotic and random with all the supplicants around you.

Took 4 hours to get at Atheon checkpoint, and then the team had to leave. We got as close as 1/3rd health on Atheon before calling it a night. From a development standpoint, new raids are huge undertakings for the team. New raids come out at a steady, healthy pace. Existing raids are easy for the live team to tweak because it's already done. Making slight mechanical changes can keep the game from going stale.

Heres a tip for atheon - made our runs 3x simpler. Five players have DPS loadouts, one player has "oracle buster" loadout of xenophage. If this guy is teleported in, they will shoot ALL the oracles themself. If this player is not teleported in, they open the portal and join the guys inside after the first wave of oracles. So at the very most, the dps players will shoot only one wave of oracles max. The xeno player can get ALL the other oracles easily. Then, when the last wave of oracles is over, the shield is given to the oracle buster BEFORE leaving the portal (so this player does not get immenent detain during dps). Then, the oracle dude will have shield during dps and the 5 DPS players can damage just fine. This is really useful for saving ammo for the damage phase, and shooting the oracles without any issues whatsoever. Remember as soon as the portal is open it will stay open.

For the conflux defense with the imune minotaurs....2xWarlocks with wells, chromarush+prometheusLens+stickygrenades&chain reaction, each warlock takes a room and prometheus will bypass the minotaur shield, the rest it just survival mode, prometheus will wipe the yellow chicken and also cancel it's plunge, finally a good use for trace rifles

If you can hold yourself in the middle of the left side, right side, or middle when needing to memorize oracles for the Templar section, you can hear where they spawn. At least that's what we were able to do, back in D1, if you couldn't keep up. I wasn't able to watch any of the race, because of work, but I'm actually happy they didn't change too much from D1. Also that new "secret" chest, was normally where a lot of us jumped around while waiting for the slowpokes that took forever on the ledge so it's funny that they put it there.

Nah lfg are awful, they might seem nice at first but if you mess up once you get yelled at like you're a damn trash can even if you're just a beginner. At least that's what happened for me unfortunatly :(

On theTemplar step, you forgot to specify that even though you block his teleorts, oracle will still appear after a certain amount of time. (Usually on a 3rd consecutive attempt to block)

@@Fridge756 back in destiny one venus was a jungly planet with overgrown cities and mars was..well, a desert planet. Since we were at both places often when people were sent to them in vog they just by instinct said venus and mars. So the instict is sorta gone now that we dont have a harsh jungle like landscape like Venus.

Here's the list of the 3 Vex cube locations: 1) The one you snipe from the opening rocks 2) At 4:53 on your left in a small rock alcove. 3) At the far end of the labyrinth on the ceiling. What me and my group settled on for oracles was just there were 2-3 people dedicated to clearing adds and then everyone else was watching oracles, we would just count up in our heads with the noises and shoot them when it was our turn which we figured out from the little text message thing that pops up when an oracle gets destroyed.
