if you think about it they're a hyper-intelligent 4th interdementional biomechanic automatons. Think of it this way: in the third dimension, you can move in any which way. In theory, the forth dimension revolves around time, where all things are past, present, and future. Via the forth dimension, you can traverse in any direction, meaning you could build something in the present and it would've existed in the past. This also explains the creation of alternate timelines. these timelines are different dimensions where you could lift your foot up and, in an extreme case start a war.

Actually that's where there known to come from due to the stranger, she's from the future and asked us to help stop the vex. The reason vex are throughout time is because well they create alternate realities allowing them to affect the "past".

The vex, they were a species made out of light in the future, but the vex (the ones with machines) went to the future and gave them time travel, as the "new" vex went back on time to learn, Crota opened its ascendant realm to them, where like Toland, the got atracted to it to learn, but they got corrupted and learned the thingy of the swords, and the story repeats itself over and over again. -Foolyouerradica

What i really want is another vex raid. A great vex raid boss would be that it learns from you so you cant attack it the same way twice, so basically its invulnerable and you have to find a way to take him down to attack him so how you would do this is some sort of relic, but every time after you take him down the relic changes so its more difficult to find and you must learn how to use it quick. Another thing is that after each time you down him you have to damage him a different way (example: you shoot him with rockets the first time so the second time if you shoot him with rockets he will be able to block them) if you run out of weapon types/abilities to attack him with you have lost.

They work history as they see fit the ruins appeared in the sol system because the traveler came so they went back and and "planted" the structures in sol system to try to gain power from the traveler that they learned from the hive. At least that's my theory so your video make perfect since to me really hard to explain. Great video.

The vex are very complex. I guess that's why they are my favorite enemy in the destiny lore. The only thing I ponder on is if the Main axis mind or the Queen mind if we think of it in the insect spectrum of things, what if it was human or a single being that the traveller first met, and it showed he or she time travel and gave them a vast knowledge to create these machines we call the vex.

What if when you kill a vex goblin , the vex can go back in time to tell the goblins to not make that mistake and get killed so the goblin avoids the attack of the guardian and is prevented from being killed. Some time later the same goblin is assigned an assault on Mars, the goblin steps in and gets killed by the same guardian from before, which didn't kill him cause he was alive until now because the vex warned him so we could be killing the same goblin over and over and we don't even know it. No because guardians are not bound by time so the traveller is guaranteed to die at some point which creates ghosts which creates guardians which are unpredictable as they are not techniqually alive and basicly atheon is just a harpy compared to the vex control place

basically she is the daughter that is rumored so have lived on from the bray legacy, Anna bray, and thus alto help surivie the collapse or as just an experiment she was made into a exo like cayde and some how was frozen in ice on Europa and came back to when the vex were 're-collinizing the planet's or she wasn't frozen on and just escaped and lived away from every thing explaining y she's so shadowy and just kind of watches and also she could have lived because she is machine either or and then later after the vex took over found other people that survived the vex recollinizing the system and found a way to use the vex gate with information she learned from osiris on Europa before she became frozen or came back to the inner planet's we know in destiny and then found a way to go back in time to help prevent what happened with the vex taking over
