That's some mean percussion in the beginning. I would have been fine with that for the duration of this track. The Cabal theme imo was spot on for these enemies. Hope to find out more about them if Destiny ever fleshes out the story.

Y'know, it's kinda tragic to see not just old Rockets Mcdickface as a taken in The Whisper, but the others from this game as well, like Drevis and Urzok. The worst part wasn't just that they're taken, but also that they've been _resurrected_ by Xol some time after his "demise". As for who took them, it could be either Savathun or still Xol himself.

I like to think of the percussion as a traditional motif passed down for thousands of years by the Cabal from their ancient ancestors with the cello and stomps being the more modern imperial war March, since we hear it in other Cabal sountracks. If you're gonna write music that has history to it without ever being explicitly told then go to Marty O'Donnell.
