Amazing...takes years to develop this level of Travis pick. This song is a classic return to form for the band. Love that resonator sound.

the ending riffs on Destiny Rules? I know I'm coming in late but it's like my most favorite part of the song...the ending.. it's amazing what they do with it

Mick has an interesting presence when he enters a room apparently, which I suppose should come as no surprise. I still remember when he dabbled at acting in the 80s. Remember the movie The Running Man with Arnold Schwarzenegger?

Sounds like the early version of "Destiny Rules" that Mick, Lindsey and John would've been working on before Stevie joined them in the studio. Lindsey's playing some weirdo electric guitar/dobro hybrid thing... not sure of the make.

Does anyone but Lindsey know how to play that awesome outro to Destiny Rules? I just cannot figure it out.
@joaorocha704611 ай бұрын
Hey man, I know your comment mas 10 years ago, but i Think i found the formula. At least for the Melody part. If you want to play it on a guitar and sound like the original studio Version you have to tone your High E into a D and put a capo on the first fret

@@davidgifford169 you need to tune your High E string to a D and put a capo on first fret. Then you use the form of a Dsus2 chord and work with the B string and E string (now a D)

I just saw this documentary on KZbin today. Lindsey Buckingham is my favorite member of Fleetwood Mac! I wish they would've recorded this as a solo in this song on the album. He makes the song with this guitar. He held back so he didn't overshadow Stevie's lyrics with his skills.

David Gifford I don't have the lower strings figured out but here's was I have for E and B E-4--4797624---4 B---3---------------3---1 And most of the song seems to be based off of that scale/those notes.

OK great I'll play around with that. It does look like he's messing around with open C but who knows what tuning he's in.
