I dont think u understand the whole sentiment of the song, u’re catering for your man for his hard work, and after a long day. Being devoted to your man ; the issue isn’t about whether or not you should be catering to the one you love, but rather, how deserving the person you choose to spoil is of such levels of devotion. It starts with the lyric, “Baby I see you working hard. Wanna let you know I’m proud” why wouldn’t you cater to your hardworking man?

I’m 36 yo. Been married for 11 years. Lol I think I cater to my man. Being a black women, we tend to get into this trend where men should bow down to us. But I believe we are equal and as a woman I do my part with cooking and raising our boys, but he handles the cleaning with me and raking our children.
