hmmmmmmm I think you need to look at the context... Céline invited them to be on her show and as the generous performer that she is, she let THEM shine within their song. I am not going to argue who is a better signer etc that is somewhat subjective. I so enjoyed this performance when it 1st came out and still to this day. Soooo much talent that stage :-)

Beyoncé has always been a feckless jackass so in love with the sound of her own voice that she needs to be the center of attention at all times. She drove away DC and ruined every song she was a part of with her obnoxiously long and unnecessary runs. There's musicality and soul, and then there is attention grabbing. It's the same fucking problem with Aretha. If Celine had felt any animosity or hostility that night, or was offended at all by Beyoncé's incessant need to make herself look like an attention whore, she would have absolutely double decked that cunt musically, just like she did with Aretha, when the chunky fuck decided to disrespect her friend and snub her on stage on her own fucking song. I will always admit that Beyoncé's singing skills and longevity put her up there at the Trinity with Celine, but she was one of the worst of the worst when it came to musical professionalism and personality on stage. It's like when she ruined that Ed Sheeran song by over-singing a simple fucking love song that didn't need her in it to be good.
