She Led Say My Name, Tell Me, & Bridges. Her voice lacked the commercial qualities Beyonce & Kelly carried, but she was equally skilled in vocal execution, even though Bey went via more trainning. She sung (led) more background than Kelly on the first album, and even though she didn't solo, her voice was more distinctive and polished well.

Torrey Lar-Parker I felt Mathew should have practiced more with all the girls with controlling their singing while dancing. They would of still be a group, a bad ass one from the 90s till today. Still would have been different from one another and brought something different to the group just all would/could sing and dance live without sounding out of breath. And lead a song too.

LeToya is singing 1st Soprano, a place where she blossoms into a real Soprano, her voice always stands alone, hence why she could perform that note so distinctively, her voice is high & piercing, but the brightness in Timbre gives her such a unique tone, & a lot color. Kelly is preforming 2nd Soprano, just above Beyonce to the point where their voices are nearly parallel, Kelly's timbre is so similar to Beyonce's, however the weight of voice is still present, & actually compliments Beyonce's natural sound, she also holds the Harmony together, because she BLENDS Beyonce into it. Beyonce is the (leading) Melody, as 1st Alto, her voice is medium, yet extremely profound & polished. She wields the agility as a Coloratura Mezzo-Soprano to perform the best melismatic runs, allowing her lead the choral line. She does it the best too. Her sound is warmer than Kelly's LaTavia is 2nd Alto, her vocal chords are THICK making her voice appear more present, given Kelly's lightness- who is just above her, LaTavia appears above her when she actually below. LaTavia has a heavy voice too, it's the smoothest, & her darkness is what stabilize's each voice, Alto's hold the choral line together, so each voice does not stray off & sound apart. Ya'll better recognize TOP Harmony when you hear it, this composition is by far the best, because the Magic of their harmonies stand out, together, & apart so perfectly. 4-Part Harmony is easy to achieve, but DC gives you more, I love it. Vocal Dissection is my favorite thing to do, especially when it's a band with such talent.

Her voice was often compared to T-Boz & if T-Boz is a soprano than I must be getting high notes confused with low notes. Look up "Latavia Roberson interview" by 131413 & she comes out of her own mouth & say that she sings the low bottom notes in the group. Listen to the 1st verse on "Sweet Sixteen" & "Can't Help Myself" by DC & tell me if that's a soprano voice. Listen to the 1st verse in "Trippin" & "Movin' On" by Anjel & tell me if she was hitting high notes. Soprano she is not!!

I've love all the DC members but as much as I like Letoya voice I've seen her live and it's nothing to break out in rejoice for. In Beyoncé and Kelly open letter during their legal battle and fallout, Beyonce claimed Letoya was tone deaf. Latavia was meant to be a dancer but Beyoncé wanted her in the group. Yet moments like this, it makes it hard to believe that Letoya is tone deaf or downplay Latavia's contributions. Each and every girl is vocally gifted. Granted, Beyoncé undoubtedly had innate stardom, but it feels unfair that management wouldn't attempt to showcase the others more.
